I had been ridiculed for years and years for refusing point blank to buy and use a pin pointer. 😩. I relented and purchased the same pointer that everyone else uses and that is the garrett carrot 😃 and I must say it works great. It can sometimes chirp a bit but not that often, all I do is switch off and on again. One thing I learnt from others is when you switch it on touch the ground with the end for a couple of seconds and this tunes the pointer in and reduces falsing. HH.
@myview1875 I thought about the garrett to be fair as they have a great reputation when it comes to pinpointers. I opted for the mi-6 and I'm very happy with it. I just could not get along with the pro find 40.... no matter what you did it seemed to have a mind of its own!
