Yooooooooo, this helped so much. I tried following the guides on HP's user help section that said Legacy should be off, but as soon as it was enabled my laptop worked again. Thank you!!!!

@@maremagnus Yep, I put two and two together and figured that out. By the way, my computer crashed again a couple days ago, with a blue screen and some other options to reset. I did not want to do the wrong thing, so I contacted them. They made me do a few things on my computer. When these did not work, they told me that they were going to search for a recommended agent to do the repairs. Then I said, Hey by the way, I usually use the legacy support thing. And the reaction was, Why didn't you say that? Then they completely left out the repairs and proceeded with further steps to fix the additional problem I had. So I can confirm that what you are saying is so true!!! I am definitely done with HP after this computer. But the problem is, all the companies are the same!

OMG! I do not usually comment on things however I cannot tell you how much this helped! As a previous comment mentioned, HP Support had one misstep wrong that caused to whole error. What a relief it saved me on having to pay someone to find this simple fix!!!!!

@SykiWiz yes ... But not by my own ... I took my pc to a professional guy and he told me that the damage was in windows cuz somehow my pc uninstalled it so he installed it and everything is good the guy told that the damage could hit the hard disk but it wasnt ...so that good ......

For me, after I type in the 4 digit code, it brings me to a black screen that says "boot device not found. Press any key once added" and when I press a random key, it keeps spamming the same message. Please help!!
If this method is unsuccessful, another possibility is that your hard drive is having a problem, try checking if the hard drive is detected, another way if your hard drive is detected try to install Windows again
@@FreshcomChannel What if it says "No hard drive installed" when i try to do the "hard drive test"
@@DaryStabbo looks like your hard drive is not detected ... try to disassemble the hard drive, clean the connection pin, then plug it back in, and test .. if it doesn't work replace the hard drive

It solved my problem peeps. How? After following the steps in the video mine didn't opened automatically so I just long pressed the power button to shutdown the laptop then i waited for my laptop to cool down because it's too hot (but i dont know if it is useful to wait for the laptop to cool down)
Then i pressed the powerbutton and something appeared in the lower left that says press ESC to blah blah
after i pressed it, it took me in a menu options blah blah but dont bother with the options just press ENTER and my laptop was opened i hope yours too

@@beelzeburger5608 honestly I’m not quite sure, i would suggest just buying a new hardrive, as for me I already did and it’s still broken, if that’s the case for you I suggest getting a new computer, I’m saving for a PC which is recommended for you to also do

a lot of the fixes that people are finding seem only temporary. So if something works for you, don't shout for joy until you've had a dozen or so successful boots to Windows. What is working for me (notice I didn't say "what worked for me") was going into the BIOS and turning off ("hidden" is the word in the setting) the TPM (Trusted Platform Module). This, on my 2019 HP Spectre x360. So far, so good. Good luck, everyone.

@@treyan I am so sorry. Soon after I turned off the TPM in my BIOS, the Boot Device Not Found problem returned. The TPM is called PTT on Dell computers. Anyway, this seems to be a hardware problem and not a software problem. Some chip or something is failing slowly, but not all at once. When I researched reddit on this issue, it seems the only real solution was to replace the hard drive / SSD.
