DIY Watermelon Popsicles! 🍉 (with Carson!)

- Welcome to the latest episode of Cooking with Carson #cookingwithcarson (a 4th of July special)! Looking for an easy summer activity you can do with your kids on a budget...using Dollar store items? This recipe is one of our favorites! Easy Watermelon Popsicles! Watermelon is yummy all on its own, but these popsicles are DELICIOUS and really cool you down on a hot summer day. They have a completely unique flavor that the orange juice brings out and the soft texture of a store-bought popsicle (so you don't feel like you are biting ice as some home-made versions can be.)
Ingredients & Supplies (this makes about 10 large popsicles)
🍉4 cups watermelon (about 1/4 of a medium watermelon)
🍚1/4 cup sugar (less if desired)
🍊2 tablespoons orange juice
*🍭Dollar Tree Popsicle Molds or amzn.to/2ujdGKX (great for smaller serving size for kids and really easy to remove!)

Aww my son is Carson's age and he calls the Dollar Tree "Dollar Treat" also! We made cantaloupe popsicles with a little Greek yogurt and honey.

We have always had the popsicle molds but didn't use them much till this year. Whenever we have any leftover drinks, my kids will fill them up. They have even made some from Gatorade and Dr. Pepper. Not my cup of tea but after playing in the sun, they look forward to them so much!
