This was the first title that jumped out to me. When you got to John 15 the presence of God hit me like a tidal wave and I was stuck in my seat for over an hour. I started my morning off reading the Lazarus story Came home and on RUclips I see the celebration of life service for Lacy Gonzales I Never heard of this lady of God now I listened to her speak and wondering God why why this lady doing great things but then Isaiah 57:1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.” I’m sure a lot of people tried praying her out of heaven but God wanted her with him and I know she loved her husband son and family but she would not want to leave Jesus

Good message. But people in America and some other countries can say prosperity is ours. But think about multitudes of Christians persecuted all over the world, homeless, in prisons, tortured for Christ.....That is the true gospel, where people are ready to give up everything for Christ, who don't debate about prosperity and things of the world.
On the surface it may seem that but no. It’s all throughout scripture, we are told what to do with our mind. The apostle Paul tells us in Romans 12:2 we must renew our mind. Romans 6:11 tells us to consider ourselves dead to sin just like Jesus. Colossians 3:1-3 to put our mind on the things of Heaven and think from that place. Proverbs 23:7 as a man thinks in his heart so is he. Lots and lots of this in the Bible. Jesus saved us, the spirit being but we must change our mindset so we can experience what He accomplished spiritually.

But also we can get into the metaphysical where we use our minds more than being lead by the Holy Spirit. Don’t misunderstand me please. I’m just very cautious about some of the things that are being taught that’s really New Age quoting the scripture to make it sound spiritual.
