Opium birds: these birds are solitary being things, they hang out at mountains or very cold pools. They are neutral meaning don’t attack them and they won’t kill you. There long beak is for eating stones, and drinking water. They’re apex creatures because there is no predators there besides sperm whales, orcas, shark. Opium birds do a weird beak click or a grumble, when it’s near penguins it rather would protect them from skuas or petrels. Opium birds lay eggs in clutches of 6, they use there coat as a nest while the male and female take over each day. Sometimes when the female is full of food for its babies, the male will guard the female. The males will do an ear ringing sound. When the babies hatch they make a birth day flute thingy sound, babies eat fish and stones.
Update: there predators are 2026 polar bears opium birds are found in snow regions also

People have been saying that they've seen this thing before, and I might know why. The Opium/Erosion Bird is vey similar to a plague doctor, or Big the bird. The most similar thing to the Opium/Erosion Bird is a pelican. It has a long beak (Usually) white fur, and sometimes tiny black eyes. (You can also say a Shoebill, but they aren't white.) The brain is connecting stuff YOU'VE seen before that looks like this. It's what the brain usually does with images. Like how if I showed you a picture of a panda; you might think of Po from Kung Fu Panda, or if I showed you a bear you might think of Freddy Fazbear. Now have fun watching a 10 hour video!

The erosion bird, also commonly known by its more controversial name Opium Bird, is a very little known, solitary species of bird. These creatures live in extremely harsh, tall mountains in Antarctica. There are around 72 specimens known in the wild, most being mature adults, and are so listed as Critically Endangered. Erosion birds are 10-25 feet tall, and are very docile and calm, seeming to be unusually wise and powerful. All specimens seem to have large clawed arms instead of wings, which they keep in a coat of feathers. Their feathers are long, pale white and thick, which are most likely used for surviving the extreme cold. Erosion birds stand upright and walk with small, but fast, aggresive steps. Not much other information is known about these creatures.

The lore of this video is actually quite interesting if you dive deep enough into it. Let's look at the facts:
For starters, we have the surface level of the iceberg. Opium bird lives in snowy mountainous areas and has peaceful relationships with humans. At least, we know that this particular bird has peaceful relations with this particular human. However, since the bird continually changes forms along with the human, this world either exists on another planet within our universe or in another universe entirely. Regardless, it is clear this world exists within concepts that don't apply to the strict confines of the physics here on earth. Since we don't know the laws which apply to this world, it is difficult to find meaning in it. This leaves many questions: are there effects added to the footage? Or are these the rules which apply in this universe? Does time have a different way of operating there?
We also have the question of whether the opium bird and/or humans live in societies with others of their species. They could operate separately or coside, similar to a Star Wars-type scenario. One thing is immediately clear to the viewer when watching this video, which is that everything about it is connected with the idea of tranquil, relaxed existence, lacking violence or misery. We can see the opium bird and the human doing life together without any hint of anger or unrest. The track playing over this footage is slow in pace and is played on a major scale. The major scale is known to sound happy, enthusiastic and optimistic. Combined with the soft ambience, simplicity of the track, spurratic sounds and sound effects which resemble sounds of nature and a utopia of contentment, the song suggests that the elusive opium bird and the human have found the ultimate state of satisfaction, harmony, and meaning.
In conclusion, the interpretation of this video is simple: it's communicating an idea which many people don't understand, and probably never will. It emphasizes the needlessness for chaos, confusion, hatred, or anything or the like. Instead, it advocates for creatures to co-exist peacefully and grow physically, emotionally and spiritually. A world of perfect balance where, instead of bringing one another down and creating a loop of pain, misery, killing and destruction, all of the beings in a sphere of existence can learn from each other, thus creating the best possible reality.

    THE OPIUM BIRD
The Opium bird or , more commonly called , Erosion bird are large birds that can grow up to 15 feet and live to around 60. They have a shaggy coat of specialized feathers to keep them warm in their hostile environment , Antarctica . These birds are related to Albatross and eat seals, Penguins and , on rare occasions ,Orca Whales. They are solitary, intelligent birds that are curious towards humans ,though it is rare to find one. Their bleach white feathers makes the Erosion bird camouflage in their environment. These fascinating creatures will sometimes be found taking ice baths in the freezing water, no one knows why Opium birds do this but specialists believe that it may just be for recreational purposes.

The Erosion Bird (Gigantornis Maximus) is a very large avian native to Alaska and Russia. They earn their name from their habit of walking along the shore, sometimes causing small (typically ranging from dinner plate to table sized) pieces of the land or ice to break off into the water. This behavior is to probe for fish or seals to snag with their long beak. The Erosion Bird is incredibly docile to humans, given they aren't provoked. They stand roughly 10-15 feet at the shoulder and weigh in at 750 to 1,100 pounds, dependent on gender. The females are significantly larger. They have been observed stabbing pilot whales with their beaks before consuming the animals for their high caloric content. They are often compared to Thunderbirds of Native American myth. They have multiple layers of specialized feathers to insulate from the cold. Similar to polar bears, the skin underneath is black to absorb heat. They are sometimes considered "living fossils" due to their prehistoric appearance, even possessing claws on their wings similar to avian dinosaurs such as Microraptor. The most likely reason for their docile nature is a lack of predators. They are at great risk from global warming.

Opium birds are about 7 feet too 3 meters tall with a beak that's 93cm long. This creature is known to not be aggresive which is a great thing knowing that these things are over abundant. These birds appear in places that are in the negative and are in the mountains, Antarctica, and very rarely in Greenland. These mammoth of birds like to take bathes in the glaicur water or in any ice cold water.

Neophron Antarcticum (Antarctic Vulture) is an big bird from Neophron family. It was discovered by a group of scientists from Amundsen-Scott station after a series of strange satellite images. It is unknown where do Antarctic Vultures actually live, since they were found only near Amundsen-Scott station, but nowhere else. They are famous for their peaceful appearance and their thick fur, which protects them from Antarctic climate. They are currently researched and protected by UNESCO.
Currently it is unknown if they are really part of Vultures family since further research is difficult in Antarctic conditions.

    lore I made up
Erosion Birds are large animals that live near the Antarctic. Incredibly rare, only 12 known specimens exist of this species. Biologists from Chile have discovered the uses of this strange bird’s feathers. Incredibly cold resistant, they are currently being used to create suits for exploring the mountain ranges where these birds live. They get their name from the fact they live inside caves formed by erosion. The fact that birds, at the tallest possible, are seven times bigger than an average man is staggering. The bird’s appearance looks similar to the plague doctors that tried to cure “The Black Death” so many centuries ago is confusing. Several specimens have been observed going into the cold antarctic sea, the coming out without any sign of anything odd happening. Not very much is known about these amazing birds.

The opium birds feathers are a prehistoric version of the feathers, similar to the ones seen in dinosaur fossils.
They are not quite feathers, and not quite fur. Beneath this layer of hardy furfeathers are down, a soft, warm coat which keeps the bird warm, and in the case of companionship, could keep a person warm too.
