I don't know the full reason why but that's a pretty standard approach angle for the CRJ/Challenger 850 line. You also see it a little bit with the shorter Challenger 600 series aircraft (from which the CRJ/850 line was developed) but not quite as severe. I'm guessing it has something to do with the CG of the longer fuselage. Some Russian aircraft also utilize severe nose down approach angles and can even land nose first - the IL-76 comes to mind.
The Gulfstream IV just really looks majestic landing and taking off to me. They sound cool, too! Thanks.

That Challenger 850 ( 2:45 ) had some pretty steep nose down on final. I'm not a pilot but I thought that was a no no in landing procedure?
