Sutorius luridiformis - they are poisonous when raw but edible after proper cooking (for at least 15-20 minutes). Many mushroom hunters here even prefer them over Boletus edulis. In my experience they are more firm and don't get worms so often.

Maybe you mean the scarletina boletes, in Latin called Sutorius luridiformis.
