- Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) follows Irene Adler (Rachel McAdams) to see what she's up to..
ABOUT SHERLOCK HOLMES:
From director Guy Ritchie (Rocknrolla, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels) comes a fresh take on the classic master detective Sherlock Holmes starring Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law and Rachel McAdams. Renowned "consulting detective" Sherlock Holmes (Downey Jr.--Iron Man) has a reputation for solving the most complex mysteries. With the aid of his trusted ally Dr. John Watson (Law--The Aviator), Holmes is unequaled in his pursuit of criminals, relying on his singular powers of observation, his remarkable deductive skills -- and the blunt force of his fists. But now a threat unlike anything Holmes has ever confronted threatens London ... and it's just the challenge he's looking for.

4:46 the camera tilt to match the hat is so great
He did this movie while he was developing the Tony Stark persona. I have to say he is an exceptional actor not mixing elements of one character to the other and despite the fact the he was born to play Tony Stark, as Sherlock Holmes he had to deliver a way deeper role and he mastered it. Exceptional performance.
He's a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude
@@lazy_7415 He... is Dude!! 😂
Love this movie, I’m still waiting for a third film.
Not gonna happen. It would have been out in so many years
He makes such a good Sherlock
@@rs9130not necessarily
@@rs9130 I think it's been proven that time is of no importance when making a direct sequel to a movie regardless of it
@@rs9130 believe it or not the director and Robert still want to make a third movie but my guess is we’ll just have to wait until that happens but regardless I’ll wait.
Slamming the picture down and his screech while jumping are so hilarious
Landing in the coal bunker was the icing on the cake.
I love the portrayal of Holmes as a ridiculous man who tries to appear sophisticated. It honestly matches pretty well with his book counterpart considering they keep trying to insist he's a self serious man but he repeatedly does just completely silly or bizarre things
Mr Robert is my favorite Sherlock Holmes action.....I ever have the DVDS of him as Sherlock Holmes
I could not believe Holmes was that vagrant who peeked in the carriage. He is GOOD. And Irene's the OG femme fatale.
Watch the Grenada series some time.
@5:16 "Get that out of my face." "It's not in your face, it's in my hand" 🤣
I hate the retrospective changing of moriarty's voice.
I was waiting for that comment
was wondering this
change of actor
@@Morfe02 they never revealed the name of the actor
Why? And I remember rumors that it was Brad Pitt
Oh I forgot that Zimmer had a lot of fun on this soundtrack.
Wait i remember Moriartys voice being more raspy then that. Not so much like Jared Harris voice.
Better cast and better stories than bbc...waiting for the 3rd👍🔥
Love how RDJ has two Iron Man Roles/Franchises
Anyone remember the original version where Moriarty’s voice isn’t overdubbed by the actor from the Game of Shadows movie? Or is it just me
You're not the only one. I remember very well.
Eh
Excellent workmanship for both
Good movie
Proff. Dumbledore and Tony Stark nice
4:46 낭만을 아는 카메라 워킹
thank you.
Does anyone know what style of jacket was Irene wearing? Was that a trend back in 19th century?
Its pretty much an overcoat, you can see that it goes around the pink dress to her feet by the sides.
It was 1891
It's a shame he got so expensive that he can't do another.
He can reduce his Salary, this is his best performance, not Oppenheimer.
@nguyennam1945 and I could reduce my salary to do better work too, but I work for money. Also actor unions really push people not to do that since they get a percentage. SAG is one of the main reasons films are so expensive these days. If you hire a bunch of no-name new actors who would be thrilled to make 200k instead of a cast of 8 to 9 (or 10 in rdj's case) figure actors, sag makes less money.
@@picivyvortac2641 except you don't work for millions, so the "i work for money" thing doesnt apply here at all.
@Elipson52008 why? I make just under 6 figures and love my job. I wouldn't work for this conpany for 50k, which is a living wage where I live.
@@picivyvortac2641 you'd be surprised that not everyone share that sentimental.
Nice
If robert can play violin that would be perfect
When I first watched this scene I was like where did she got the flowers.......after a short time later I finds out where did she'd got the flowers
"Turtle, turtle..." 🐢
I like both movies.. two parts shelok homes
I saw 20 times movie last 10 years...
Amazing movies

2:57 😂😂😂
No girls wants to marry a doctor who can't tell if a man's dead or not. Lol. Still waiting on the third movie!
Movie name
Raiders of the Lost Arch
Que direção
& a NATION always scratching their head on my eating habitz..ha,ha🎉
I’ve never been exactly clear as to what he’s putting in his mouth the two times. Cheese? Then coal?
what exactly it was doesn't really matter. point was that the first time was to mask his breath, and second time was to change the structure of his jaw. the disguise is complete.
K
This man really is a terrible actor, and has destroyed every film he has been in. And this complete mess of a Sherlock Holmes movie.
