Terrific! Half a dozen years before I first rode and wonderful to get those memories of an important part of the history of 'our' railway. Thank you so much. Best wishes to all, Ian
Coincidently this anniversary is twelve days after the anniversary of the completion of the first transcontinental railroad in 1869 at Promontory Point in Utah which also had a ceremony where a golden spike was driven. I'm not sure if this is true but I think it was the Golden Spike ceremony at Promontory which kicked off the railroad/railway tradition of celebrating the completion of a rail line with the driving of a golden spike.
stellar video :).
Superb

The RUclips thumbnail made the Prince of Wales' feathers on Edward Thomas' smokebox look like an evil three eyed face.
Congrats on the anniversary, and thank you for this well produced video. It was a lot of fun to watch and hear everyone's stories.
