    Coincidently this anniversary is twelve days after the anniversary of the completion of the first transcontinental railroad in 1869 at Promontory Point in Utah which also had a ceremony where a golden spike was driven. I'm not sure if this is true but I think it was the Golden Spike ceremony at Promontory which kicked off the railroad/railway tradition of celebrating the completion of a rail line with the driving of a golden spike.

      Yes we suppose it will be back to life for restoration 2022 extension
