I think I might have mentioned it before the best way to simulate the typical behavior of this halftrack is to use a MECHANICAL differential from a (1/10 scale) rearwheel drive RC car.
I once built a halftrack using an old Tamiya Grasshopper differential and some 3 D printed tracks.
When you use 2 separate electro motors the vehicle behaves like a tank which is NOT what the typical behavior for this type of halftrack was.
The strong point of the real halftrack vehicle was that it could make gentle turns so that towed artillery pieces wouldn't suffer too much.
This was one of the official MAIN considerations of the German Army for using this halftrack vehicle.
One of the BIG complaints when the German Army began using the fully tracked Ostschlepper as a replacement was that the artillery pieces suffered a lot by the sudden movements of the Ostschlepper.
Changing your gear train by replacing it with a mechanical differential from an RC car makes building more EASY and much more REALISTIC.
The funny thing is that these two reasons were also the reason why the German Army adapted halftracks in the first place.

Okey. Thanks for the info I will look into that when I build this in scale 1/6.

Looks nice! Looks like those battery could go under rear seat with some clever design fitting? Nice model!
