Thanks, this is very handy!! I'm using it to practice playing minor Pentatonics over major chords. Why? because it works and sounds different and give you more 'tools in the toolbox'. I just look at all the minor modes in the key of C (D Dorian, E Phrygian, and A Aeolian.) and within each of those there is the minor pentatonic scale...just omit 2 notes. In Dorian throw away the 2nd, and 6th, in Phrygian throw away the b2 and b6, and in Aeolian throw away the 2 and the b6.
