What a beautiful discussion. Hearing someone share so beautifully and articullatly about my ancestral beliefs is so refreshing. On Closer to truth too, amazing!!. I hope people can have an open mind when viewing 🙏

12:00 Fascinated by Motsamai's explanation of how "God" is most directly available to one through ones connection to ancestors, so to speak.

At 31 mins the host says that African religions are different from karma and reincarnation. I think the point Motsamai is making here is that no One is coming to save you. You have to save yourself. In that sense, African religions are VERY similar to eastern traditions where you have to work out your own liberation (moksha).

One day religions will be looked at as primitive attempts to rationalise the universe!
    The sooner the better!

And on that same far distant future day, it's likely that science will still not understand the how and why of consciousness, nor have any absolute insight into the origin and destination of matter and time.

The truth will never die. Without God the universe and everyting in it will never make sense. The equations will never balance as long as God is removed.

Good is god. Not an invisible crusty old codger floating in the sky.

What about what's good for one person and not the other? Maybe they take sides?
