Thanks for sharing this, Shannon! I am pretty comfortable in my own skin now, but I always felt weird or different than many people and almost all the things you mentioned here, I relate to on some level. Whethers it’s creating lists, making up your own sports leagues, names, quotes. I also have a fairly sensitive stomach so I feel what you are saying on that topic. Obviously there are many people like this around the world but it’s nice to see someone I respect and know, talk about these things! Take care, THG.
The memorization thing is very relatable. I remember the first thing I could memorize was license plates. I could remember names my parents forgot. In elementary and middle school, I knew every classmates middle name. It's a touch of the tism, but it helped out a lot in school for tests that had a lot to do with memorization. I barely had to study. Also, instead of counting sheep or whatever to fall asleep, I'll name every Stanley Cup winner from 2024 back to the '40s. Anyway, I digress.
I love this channel too. I hope you keep uploading things here as you can, or feel like sharing any kind of list! I love hearing about this stuff from someone I already like from the hockey videos.
Negative on autism spectrum, his social skills are too high. I'm pretty sure Shannon has Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder (OCPD): obsession with lists, hoarding/collecting, perfectionism and extreme dedication to work.
Talking to myself is merely a form of sorting my own trail of thoughts at times. Some people write notes or diagrams, I just talk those aloud. Saves paper. 😅
12:30 I thought I was the only one that never made rough drafts! It’s not that my writing is/was perfect, but true rough drafts never work with my style.
Shannon, in case no one has already said this, if not for your sake, but your families, get your hockey card collection appraised, even if it costs some money to do so. Truth be told, it may be very valuable, and they may prefer the money from it than holding on to it. I know that might hurt to hear, but you could be setting them up, depending how valuable it is. I mean that with the utmost respect, as one dad to another.
I love this video. Imagine how boring the world would be if everyone hid their eccentricities. I've met Nick Fotiu because he once dated one of my cousins. I even have a NY Rangers polo shirt he gave me. He seemed inordinately pleased to meet someone who watched hockey in the '80s.
I like to know people real name, a lot of times i've found persons with odd nicknames and i always make shure i got their real names and if they prefer to be called by them.
Now we need to know what does TEG think are the weirdest things about THG
Adding this list to my list of types of lists Shannon has listed, next time out we will power rank said list
😂😂😂
Your wife loves you very much. I know you know this.
Thanks for sharing this, Shannon!

Take care, THG.
My wife will ask me "did your team win?" When it's just a random game that happens to be on.
... and don't get me started with the self talk, still doing it, i'm never bored because there is this guy with me that really gets me !!...
Self talk can be amazing!
@@madelyn1037Dude, I tell the best jokes to myself.

Do you still charge your wife for your autograph?
😂😂😂
Just the ones for the chequebook.

You should hear Phil Esposito intentionally not trying to learn Bobrovsky's name.
I used to do the exact same thing making the "rough copy" or the "outline" after writing the essay first.
I still can’t get over the fact that TEG and THG are the same guy.
oh you conspiracy theorists...

No they’re not what are you talking about
Looking forward to your wonderfulest list by Yvonne next! Got to complete the pair. 😉 Right?

I'd love to see an alternate universe of gen z Shannon getting mad at every WatchMojo video.
First time viewer (came from THG)
Love that you have more content! Keep up the good work :)
As a Tyson, I have been called Tyler almost as many times as I have been called Tyson.
Everything about this video is disgustingly relatable😂
Do a rankings list of your rankings lists!
The Burger Guy 🍔
Love this channel👍✌️
Dude, that entire list strongly suggests Autism. Join the club. ❤
He's exactly like my older brother, except he did not think to talk at a camera for a living.
It does indeed, and that comes from someone who got their diagnose (ASD) just a few years ago.
Way under-diagnosed

Could you share some favorite song list from childhood if you have them, and comfortable sharing
I second this!
Do you have a list of your lists?
Great video. What are you watching on tv now ? How about Superman and Lois ? Filmed in your backyard.
Rams cap, loving it !!!...

Be fun to do other lists of non hockey stuff on this channel if you care to share.

THG alias TEG me (76) and my wife(80) love you. Greetings from the Black Forest
Shannon bud, I hate to tell you, but she was waiting for a move sometime after hour 1
It's funny you say you can't sing, because your speaking voice sounds a bit like Gord Downie.
