- Can we mix Cement in Tile Adhesive ? For that matter can we mix Cement or Sand in Tile adhesive ?
It's is just like diluting any good quality milk with water.

I want to share a few points here.
* selection of tile adhesive
We must choose tile adhesive as per the tile . it's size and area of application.
Generally, we can use up to 0.5 n/mm² strength for flooring tile
Up to 1 n/mm² strength for wall and dado
Up to 1.5 n/mm² strength for window framing.
* Polymer plays an important role in the performance of the tile adhesive.
* Application of tile adhesive.
Generally, tile adhesive has 3:1 water ratio, i.e. 3 pot tile adhesive mix easily with 1 pot of water. After proper mixing, keep it for 3 to 4 min to start a reaction. Always clean the tile before application. Then apply adhesive on the tile. Generally use 3 to 4 mm thickness of tile adhesive and also use trowels ( comb )
to get uniformity and removal of excessive tile adhesive.
Apply rubber hammer to get perfect bonding among tile,adhesive, and surface.
* You can ignore Rate and Brand if quality is the best.

My worker has told me to get MYK Laticrete 307 tile adhesive...so my query is Is this Tile Adhesive type selection correct? Do I need any other material to mix with it? Lastly, do I need to prepare the existing mosaic flooring by making it rough b

Yes the adhesive is fine.
Don't mix anything with the adhesive.
Ensure the installer applies the adhesive as per manufacturers guidance - mixing properly, applying properly.
I don't think there is any need of preparing the floor, but the person at the site can guide you properly.

Top floor flats are airy. Which city are you from. The roof may be hot in summer. You will get great view.

what I have felt after watching your videos is that, though being very informative they lack the "economic" aspect. I suggest you to add the price(range, doesn't need to be accurate) of applying the materials(whether its cement or adhesive). I sense some kind of intention in not shedding light on the cost of work.

If the existing plaster is strong he is right. If the existing plaster is weak or loose, it is better to remove and then install the tiles.

Pure chemical bhi bura hi hai, hmne to mixed aur pure chemical dono lga ke dkh liye...tile pakadh hi nhi rhi masale ko...5-6 times lga chuke. Tile bhi samajh nhi aati , kafi heavy hai aur pani us Tarah nhi absorb krti bhigane par jaise baki normal tiles absorb krti hain.
