Along with Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, Thelma Houston, the Bee Gees, Barry White, The Village People, The Tramps, who can forget their 10-minute version of, Disco Inferno 🔥🔥🔥 and so many more incredible singers. ♥️💚🩵🩷💙💜 Its now, 11 June 2024 - I'll be 62 in July and I still dance to this in the house, and listen to this and ALL the fabulous music from the, 60s, 70s and 80's, whilst driving my hot, V6 Holden VF Commodore. We had the VERY BEST Music; Rock, Pop and the halcyon days of Disco...!! How the hell did I finish University, get a job and still go out clubbing, dancing all night long on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and be fresh for work Monday - I'll never know. When I was in the UK back in 79, you couldn't escape this song. It was literally everywhere. You heard it on the radio every time you turned it on, at the store, on the street, and on TV. When I finally escaped to the continent, the first thing I heard in my headphones was this. Thinking I was finally free of this cursed song in Germany, I turned on the radio but there it was again. A few days later I crossed into East Germany only to be tormented by Patrick Hernandez exclaiming why he was born. This followed throughout my travels to Ukraine and even Russia. You could not hide from this song that summer.
