Holy cow, that was unbelievable! Absolutely spectacular footage of this VIP 747-8, and that rotation was just phenomenal. The shot at 4:48 with the reflection on the tarmac was also beautiful :) HUGE FRIGGIN' LIKE!
HOLY CRAP THIS IS STUNNING! You are so lucky to see this B748! AWESOME CATCH! Thank you for standing in this horrible weather for this bird, GREAT WORK
Wooohooow!!! This is incredible!!! That A380 was stunning!! and man oh man it's pouring out there!! and then that beauty of an 747-8!! Incredible stuff!!! I love this video!! Huuughe like!!
For sure that is one Beautiful plane. In the corner after the take off in the upper right hand corner of the screen it said 748SP. Obviously that is a mistake. Great photography of the clip. Thank you.
Danke :) Nun, das Wetter war mir nach dem Filmen eigentlich egal denn die Aufnahmen sind so viel besser geworden. Ich glaube ich werde häufiger bei Regen spotten gehen.
Nice video. Beautiful plane. (I guess the Qatari's came in to withdraw some money, lol.) As they say, take off is hardest on the airplane, landing is hardest on the pilots.
That's actually a government plane. It is owned by the Qatari royal family and used for formal government transport. A seperate BBJ747-8 is also used by them but painted in different livery to be used for non-formal/non-state visits.
The aircraft is now owned by the government of Türkiye. I thought it was the other way around. The fleet of the Qatari government has a total of three BBJ747-8I with a grey livery, and this one with the brown stripe used to be the one for non-formal visits, similar to the B747SP they had earlier.
Who the fuck has their own private 747-8? Could you imagine the maintanence costs on that thing alone? Im just gonna assume its from somewhere in the middle East
David Good guess mate, it was owned by the ex king of Qatar. However, the plane is currently parked at LFBS and will be sold to somebody else. If your budget is big enough it's your chance ;)

5:55 The turbulence, low pressure, over the wing; Bernoulli would like that.
WHO owns this beauty
As far as I am informed, this beauty is owned by the former ruler of Qatar (don't ask for the name because I can't keep it in mind :P)
Beautiful video...
Thanks

Qatar Gifted this Plane to Turkish Government. been painted today.
I heard about that. I'll miss this livery, but the one of the Turkish Government looks pretty good as well.
