Dear Heavenly Father please bless this priest🙏🏻 I’m so very grateful to have found this series ( 3 years after it was made!) thank you Father for sharing this wonderful series with us. May God richly bless you, in Jesus’ Holy Name🙏🏻.
Yay! I started your CPX and really loving it! I need this too! So glad this came up this morning on my feed. This is so needed in these times to really get to know God more intimately.
THANK You Father!!!!!! I can’t believe we are so blessed to have you teach us this. Just what we need- you are in my daily prayers! Thanks be to God for your vocation, we need shepherds like you.
Amen!!! And this was 9 months ago and I am far behind now...Taking notes and have had to rewind and listen again...Thank You Fr Nix... And Thanks to the person that made a comment about my comment somewhere else that led me here... Lord you know who they are God Please Bless Them🙏
Father, I need this!! I am imaginative, that’s how I pray the rosary. I am SO excited for this and this is SO needed. Can’t thank you enough! Ps, I’m the Robyn who emailed you .. so looking forward to this. Thank you Father and God bless you!
Father, I’m from India where this meditation is no laity heard of. Its just vocal prayer majority follow here. And after listening Fr Chad Rippergers’ talk, I started to do meditation with no one to ask for guidance, not even a single priest I’ve seen here who can systematically teach us how to meditate. So I was struggling very much, but I also saw a sudden change in my spiritual life after some dryness and struggle in the beginning when i started practising meditation. I cannot describe how much I’m thankful for this if God allow us to do this. Thank you so much for the effort. I’ll pray for you.
This fine piece of wisdom arrives at the precise moment in my life. I am on my second year of PhD studies, and I've come to a crossroad where the point of this journey is fading. I have plenty of technical formation on my field, but I need guidance on the transcendence of my efforts. I humbly seek divine guidance and strength to take my following steps, but I falter in my praying skills. God bless you for this effort and see you around.
I have just found your videos and I look forward to each and every one. I know this was by design to find you in the beginning of Lent. This is what I need to fulfill the prayer part of my Lenten journey. Thank you so much for taking the time to teach us.
SO HAPPY that there are already 66 of these videos published-- I can binge them like a Netflix show! ;) Thank God, Praise the Lord and God bless you all
Thank you for this Father. I am beginning this series as a part of my daily Bible study /prayer time. It is exactly what I need to learn this practice. Will add you to my prayers!
This is a spiritual life saver for me.(l used to teach neurological based Mindfulness before l reverted) . Can never go back to that ethically of course. I keep saying only 1/2 joking l want to be a hermit, this is the next best thing.
Thanks so much for doing this Fr. Dave! I’m so excited! I’ve never felt like I’ve done Lectio Divina very well. This looks to be a great series and catechesis.
I am very excited about this. Going to visit my parents for three weeks who have no internet, but when I come back, I can’t wait to learn these mental prayers. What a privilege. Thank you.
I am so happy and grateful that you have come up with both of these series! Thank you! I have watched all the CPX series to date and am just now starting the VLX series. I am a 64 year old convert to the Catholic faith, a former Lutheran pastor, who with my family, converted in 2005.
Thank you for doing this Fr. I pray that your program bears much fruit. I took a 10 week Ignatian spiritual exercises course with Fr. Ed Broom, OMV and it has changed my life. You played a part in my journey through that with your blog posts on confession when I made my first general confession last year. I pray the Lord blesses your efforts a million fold at least.
Thank you so much Fr for the wonderful work you are doing, thank you Sunsus Fidelium for introducing Fr David to your Chanel. Im so desperate to learn how to meditate,I’m a practicing catholic who loves my religion and faith. My prayer life seems empty but I’m really keen in learning how to meditate.Just listening to your first vlx:1 has helped me a lot. Your approach to meditation is so inviting and easy enough for me to learn. God bless you Fr.
I made the Spiritual Exercises classes some years ago and have attempted Lectio Divina quite a few times, to no avail. I look forward to learning more and putting into practice what you are teaching, Padre.
Father WHAT IS THE MUSIC THAT OPENS THIS VIDEO? It is the same as your podcasts; it's beautiful! Thank you for doing this!!! It is truly heaven sent!!!
Thank you for this and so your videos! It is so unbelievably needed. Can someone tell me what that wonderful chant was at the beginning of the episode?
I'm looking forward to this series. Thank you so much. Currently I'm using a book called The Ways Of Mental Prayer by Dom Lehodey, Abbot of Bricquebec. Is this a book you would recommend to learn about mental prayer? Thanks again. ~Bill from Tampa
I look forward to this. I just saw you for the first time today on another channel and looked you up. Where can I find the music you play at the end of this video?
Fr. Nix, is it providential that I just picked up a book after this past Sunday that's been sitting on my shelf called Mental Prayer by Rt. Rev Dom Vitalis Lehodey?? :) Is Our Lady leading her Blue Army...? Thank you so much for reaching out to the sheep!
Dear Father Nix I love you I love you dearly. I want you to know you have a good heart and a beautiful soul. This is something I can only say anonymously because I am uncomfortable saying such things in person. I couldn't even say I love you to my father or anyone else except my mother. I am only comfortable expressing my feelings with her.
Because Protestantism originated from Catholicism, it’s not surprising that they do have some Catholic practices. Without the sacraments and all else that goes with those practices, however, the fullness of the Faith is truly lacking.
The more Catholics actually trying and achieving this, the more we can help the clergy...with our prayers and fasting.
Dear Heavenly Father please bless this priest🙏🏻
I’m so very grateful to have found this series ( 3 years after it was made!) thank you Father for sharing this wonderful series with us. May God richly bless you, in Jesus’ Holy Name🙏🏻.
Thank you Father. St. Joseph protector of the holy family and terror of demons - Ora pro nobis!

Is it possible for the mind to sort of engage with a mixture of both approaches to mental prayer?
I look forward to this. I just saw you for the first time today on another channel and looked you up. Where can I find the music you play at the end of this video?
What version of the book on mental prayer did you recommend? Title and author? pretty please!

El padre peregrino, pensé que estaba en español 😔
Dear Fr, your videos have been a great help to me. Is it possible to help you via PayPal? From Ireland 🇮🇪
Dear Father Nix I love you I love you dearly. I want you to know you have a good heart and a beautiful soul. This is something I can only say anonymously because I am uncomfortable saying such things in person. I couldn't even say I love you to my father or anyone else except my mother. I hope you dress like a priest, it's a very powerful sign. God love you "Father" Peregrino
I take it that you are not for centering prayer.
