I have 2cm of space between the scooter and the lid, the controller lids are also open on the side. no longer waterproof and dust but the cooling is enormous. Pirate what do you say to that?
Great Stuff I got same ebike from aliexpress and the battery isn't working had 1 shot on it and it's not holding a charge? ali is not going to replace any ideas my friend. man from Scotland.
just got myself a jonobike x20, my first scooter.. thing seems legit anyway.. but damn those brakes are punchy, i wonder if its worth trying what you've done here or remap the whole thing via vesc. i could see a crash happening if i have to brake very suddenly
I think the motor braking saves brake pads and is a better way to go downhill rather than riding the brakes. Like regenerative braking on ebikes. I think I'd leave it on or at least have it switched so I can use it on long downhill runs, etc.
Edit: I just got my Boyueda (10/21) and found out there is a controller setting for the regen brakes - no need to disable them! - Wonder if Pirate is aware of this?
Pirate thinks that is better to change brake pads every 6months (price around 5$ ) rather than crash or damage controller / motor or wires due to overheat
Hi pirate I bought a janobike t85 and have a question. What I have to do that the rear wheel turn in single motor mode because the front wheel is spinning at my scooter?

Hi love the videos. Can you help, I tried to start my boyueda today and it is dead, battery is charged but controller will not turn on. Lights and horn no power too. Any ideas?
I also fix my Motorstopp on the Soflow So4Pro with a magnet, works great and feels more stable on wheelies or offroad (with only 22kmh 🤣💨 germany is ...) but at all its better to controll and i like it 👌💚 lg
Thank you for your reply ! ;) Sorry to bother you again, but I tried my boyueda today and have some problem with my front motor, like it stop running randomly sometimes during acceleration :( Do you know maybe where is the problem ? Motor broken ?
@@fightsandfinance7570 using it for a few weeks now everyday, its pretty solid, just the handlebar "feels" a bit weird sometimes but it doesnt really wobble. Around 65kmh the front really starts to shake so you will need a steering damper for sure but you could go faster. Climbs everything flawless. I got around 50 km range with playing around with single dual motor in one charge so allways single eco will be over 70km for sure. The motorbrake is REALLY hard which makes every brake not really fun honestly and since my T85 came without manual i dont know if i can change it in the display..... I wanna say its rainproof since it rains much here these days and i didnt have a problem. But your complete back and also the front of your clothing will get really dirty if its wet. The overall quality is okay, for sure secure every bolt and nut and open the deck to secure everything inside. Only problem with my t85 is the dual turbo mode makes the front wheel spin backwards. Havent switched the cable yet.
@@malo6748 Gotcha, I'm going to do some more research in getting one, but itll probabbly be one of the ones Pirate is reviewing on his videos, like the Boyeada, T85, or another one I forgot name. It's worth it tho right? lol And it's fun too yes? lol
I have a off road 1000w zipper. I have changed rear axle and bearings but the rear wheel still moves slightly side to side. Do you know what could be causing this? Also the spacers on the rear axle are the same size for sprocket and disk brake side.
@@for_all_those3611 the axle is new so that should be straight as the old one was bent because the bearings on one side kept breaking to shreds. I think it might be the hanger part the axle sits in on the right because it got bent when the wheel fell out of it and it crashed on the floor.
with such little wheel's and speed, you will end up needing carbon/ceramic brake pad's to handle the heat after an hour or two, or your brakes will fail, or just explode if they are semi-metallic
@@PirateWasHere the brakes failing or not would depend on the user, if the motor is still enable and the brakes applied, there will be alot more friction and heat being created
Bro so what about DH bikes which use the same brake system... I been in DH for over 12 years, any kind of brake can be overheated but to do it u have to go down the hill really stupid fast...
@@PirateWasHere i know, but on a scooter, you can go fast for more the 10 minutes, after a while, not releasing the throttle fully while braking will become a habit for most people

No, the polarity is not reversed - the supply is shorted - common way of braking drills, lawn mowers, etc. for safely and quickly slowing the motor to a stop.
Can you do a video on road. Check top speed and range? Looks super fast off road. Would be nice to see its full potential on Asphalt

Actually you can program the break system from the throtle .

i tested any P settings and my scoot has always uber powerful motor braking :(
