I love your videos. Keep on inspiring. I really appreciate people like you who not only drive their own lives excellently but also help others improve their lives.
Hi, i've been watching for years! love your videos. can you do a video on how to pick a career. I'm a biomed grad been teaching for a year. but not sure what else i can do. Somewhere where i can be earning. I know consulting, tech are good. but not sure what else/ im 26 so not sure if im too old to pivot. Any suggestions from anyone welcome :)
hi hi hi! thank you, of course. pivoting, switching my discipline and finding different careers is something i've spent the majority of my adulthood doing 🤣i'll make a detailed video about the concepts i speak to people about when i usually give advice around this. to quickly summarise, i would recommend: doing personality/character tests to figure out your natural strengths and weaknesses, use this to guide conversations with anyone and everyone in your network, making sure to actually network. make it known you are looking for something and allow other people to either refer you into opportunities or be top of mind when opportunities arise. if you are comfortable, post online, in fact i encourage it. finally, you are NEVER too old to pivot. one life, many opportunities :)
Yes, this will be very helpful. I have also worked in audit in a big 4 for 8 years. But I’ve finally mustered the courage to make a switch. Would love to hear what kind of personality/ career tests we can take to make a more well informed decision
