I have friend that grew up in Vermont and his neighbor across the street was a TV producer named Norman. It was years before he told the rest of the story. Yes it was Norman Lear and my friend was younger and had no clue how important he was or even the list of shows he created. To him he was just his neighbor Norman.
If his only contribution to TV had been Edith Bunker, that would have been enough. She was sweet and honest and affected the disposition of everyone she met.

Adrienne Barbeau was a knockout- still is at 77. 18:08 Two continuity issues that original scene changed. 1. Jeffersons' Aunt was never shown- it was his Uncle. 2. They moved NEXT DOOR to the Bunkers- not "2 houses down..."
Reading the comments from people who admire him, worry me because they don't have the intelligence to realize that he's written to be an ignorant buffoon.
