- The cast of Flash comes out to San Diego comic con to debut the new teaser trailer for Flash season 6, as well as reveal the look of Barry Allen suit.
Team Flash spent the last year dealing with not one but two Cicadas, the return of Eobard Thawne (a.k.a. Reverse Flash), and the surprise arrival from the future of Barry and Iris's daughter Nora West-Allen, (a.k.a. XS). The stakes were higher than ever during the season 5 finale, which culminated in Barry and Iris losing their daughter after only just getting to know her. How will they deal with saying goodbye to their speedster daughter, and what does Thawne's escape mean for Team Flash? For answers to this and all your other season 6 questions, come and see the cast and creators at their annual Comic-Con panel. From Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, The Flash will return to The CW this fall on Tuesdays at 8/7c. The Flash: The Complete Third Season is available now on Digital, and will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on August 27.

I'm pretty stoked for season 6. LOVE the 2 part graphic novel format approach. Should finally solve their pacing issue. So stoked to see it play out. Love that they are fleshing each character out and *finally* giving Iris a proper journalism arc/set. Lovin Eric already.
Yeah Eric is effectively making me fall in love with the show again and him finally giving reporter Iris the attention she deserves is the Cherry on top.🤗
@FORD FRS I doubt she'd go through the trouble of going to Flash comicon if she stopped watching the show years ago. And I doubt she'd ask a question like that if she hadn't watched all the seasons. Her question may have been dumb, but I'm pretty sure she'd make sure she's seen all the seasons in order to truly ascertain that they never followed up on the non kisses...

I can't wait to see west Allen I am very happy for season 6
I'm so glad Iris will finally have her journalism arc. Iris fans have been advocating for this for the longest time. Even Candice has been advocating for it as well. It saddens me whenever she states in past interviews how she was fighting for Iris to be like her comic version.
Every season, she never could give a straight answers on whether the upcoming season would show Iris as a reporter. Never. Considering Eric and Candice was excited about season 6, I have a good feeling. You can tell that the previous showrunners just didn't care.
Andrew- We barely saw Iris being a reporter. She'll get like 1 or 2 scenes of working on a story. Honestly, those scenes were just to remind the audience that Iris had a job and that's where she is offscreen. In season 3, they pretty much got rid of her being a reporter all together. In season 4, we didn't even know Iris quit her job until 4x16. They got rid of her freaking own set. Ugh
Todd- He was only a little better than Andrew. In season 5, we saw Iris using her investigative journalist skills to help. However, we had terrible pacing. After 5x05, they have never shown Iris have any interest in owning her own newspaper. Then, BAM!!! In 5x12, Iris has been looking for locations for the newspaper as well as getting the name approve. This came out of left field. I remember Todd saying her journalism had to fit the story. Yet, he creates a new Wells who is master detective. A master detective? Because this show needed someone else with investigative skills? We already have Barry, Joe, Iris, Ralph, and Nora when she was here.
Again, I'm glad Candice/Iris is finally getting her due.

That was really embarrassing for that girl to get up there and ask about something that happened back in season 1. What possessed her to ask something like that?
The question itself was dumb and not very well thought out. Why would they revisit something that happened 5 seasons ago? Did she expect them to just write in an episode of Caitlin mentioning how Hannibal Bates kissed her as Barry? That would be the most forced thing ever. It would make no sense for Caitlin to bring that up all of a sudden. Plus, that whole kiss thing was written as a comedic moment in that episode. It was never to be taken seriously. However, I wished it was taken seriously as Caitlin got sexually assaulted.
This person is obviously an SB shipper. I just got one question. Why do some of y'all continue to paint this kiss as an SB moment. It was literally Bates. Anyway, I'm glad Grant shut that down. There's nothing to be revisited. Because again, that moment was played as comedic.
YES!!! You couldn’t have said this any better! Why in the heck would they revisit that kiss when it wasn’t even Barry to begin with and Grant has expressed in interviews that Iris is the love of Barry’s life. Iris is Barry’s endgame as stated by Grant in his insta story a few weeks ago. What’s so hard to understand about that!

I hate the Fan question Part. I'm always grateful when they don't do that part. Yes, it can go well but most of the time it's just totally awkward and i hate it. Since when? This show has always put Barry's romantic feelings/relationships in the forefront - literally since the pilot episode. His seemingly unrequited feelings for Iris and his struggling with her dating someone else was featured in just about every episode of the first season, and it was the center of a number of major moments from the beginning of the show.

I am a fan and I love the show. Every season, every episode. Of course I am aware of plot holes and missed opportunities for character growth, but as a fan, I appreciate any scenes where I get to see this amazing cast give us amazing stories. Anyone who can’t see that, I don’t believe should identify as a fan. If you don’t like it, maybe because your romanticised season 1 or for whoever other reason, you can stop watching the show. But I will continue to love this show until it’s very last episode and even in rewatching.
