Good video, not boring at all. I'm building my second pedal board and the NUX pedal board caught my eye, which is why I'm here to see what others think of it. My first board is a Boss BCB 60 - Pedal Board Case which included almost everything to set up (integrated power, 8 pin parallel DC cables, 8 1/4 cable different lengths, etc), to power seven pedals. (Most of those pedals were Boss brand.) I just purchased six new pedals, and a Voodoo Lab power supply for them. I'm happy to have come across your video for a guide in setting up a pedal board from scratch. This was very informative and helpful. I will certainly look into getting the proper 3M dual lock for my board. And I'm convince to buy the NUX pedal board. Thanks a lot!
Boring?? Tony your videos and live streams are my favorite and I have followed your channel for a while now since you reviewed the squier vintage modified which I purchased based on your review. You sir rock! 😉
??!?!?!?BORING?!?!??!! I don't think that word should ever be applied to ANY of your videos!!!! This video ferinstance was the most informative and engaging of its kind..... I've seen some other videos on the subject and was for the most part left scratching my head... You even gave an inadvertant explanation of the effects loop! Always a pleasure when one of your vids pop up!!!!!
Awesome video, sir! Question for you- how well do wahs fit on this thing? That's the only question I have before pulling the trigger. Again, thanks so much!
I have the same pedalboard. Would you happen to know where I can get extra cable holders for this pedalboard (the ones that came with the board)? I lost mine on a gig I was doing. I was not using them and now I want to use them.
Good, informative video. Since I don’t gig regularly, I usually just use the Fender pedal that came with my mustang amp and rely on those effects. NOt sure if that sounds better but my wallet likes me not buying pedals. Maybe someday I will get a board.
Thank you for the video! I just bought the Nux Bumblebee NPB-L and am going to mount my pedals using the Dual Lock tape you suggested. I found the strongest 3M combination of the 3M tapes to be 250/400, explained here: www.3m.com/3M/en_US/dual-lock-reclosable-fasteners-us/ Underneath the Nux board are adjustable (slides left and right) wire harnesses. I noticed that you didn't use them. They show two (2) different ways to organize your cables using these clips: www.nuxefx.com/bumblebee.html With all the pedals that Nux makes, it's funny they don't make a pedalboard power supply.
i like your videos very much, because i am from austria, and i understand you very well. my question is....you playin guitar during the tuner is on, my sound is muted when polytuner is on, maybe i have an older model? thank you, greetings form austria
@@markoz777 I'd say no. I've placed two Overdrive pedals under there. They're both regular sized, I had to change the placing of the upper bars. Which worked. But I had to place the first bar with only one screw attached, place the pedals than the second one. My one spot pro fits under there you might be able to fit one under the on the bigger size of the two. Sorry for the long answer. I'd just measure the height in between the floors and your pedal.
@@markoz777 cool. I can double check on Monday if you want me to. Not sure how they're measuring cus the bar takes up space under as well. It's the one spot pro cs7 I use by the way. So check the measurements on that one!
I bought one today
Wasn’t boring at all, I enjoy this type of content, just natural talking pedal board stuff, nice!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Great video. Thank you for your time. I really get one. You rock!
Thanks for watching! You also rock my friend!

Serviceable patch cable (access to re-solder/repair) is probably preferable for most people. Then your cables can last ALOT longer.
Alrighty very informative just what I needed. Not sure a wah or expression pedal will fit on bottom unless it’s small or mini
what a nice board

Full sized wah pedals are too large to fit unless you place then on the top step which kind of feels unbalanced to me.

What is the clearance underneath the shelf? I'm wondering if I can fit pedals underneath?
Gr8 vid !!
So. I am waiting to get my nux-l
1 question. Will my wah wah fit?

Always a good idea to get what you need ONLY when you need it. Thanks for watching!

The one I have is the version 2 but I believe you have a switch on the inside that you can use to keep the tuner on while playing.
He could've fit those pedals onto a far smaller board easily, and the power supply underneath too.
Can you place pedals under the second level?
I would like to know that too. At least to keeping an expression pedal there and taking it out to use it

@@Jacksonade thanks for the info!
And it fits! One Spot pro is 206*86*50mm and my m-audio exp pedal is 200*88*47mm!!

Yikes! Corona!!!!!
Don't worry, I sprayed it with disinfectant first! LOL
