Dimash does many styles, & often combines several styles into one song.
Give Me Your Love Tonight, Dimash Digital show, he dances, Screaming, Idol Hits, is more pop, the updated Dudarai is jazz, new song from Hong Kong, not officially released yet, When I've Got You, is R&B. There are many.
Many russian singers decided to not sing this song anymore as they did not think they could do it justice after DIMASH sang it. This was a celebration of Alla Pugachova the renowned russian singer that first recorded this song and DIMASH did it as a salute to her. I was an Alla fan and this was my favorite song by her; but DIMASH took it to a whole different level as he always does to covers of other songs.

@@bekydelacaridadtoledogutie1839 Alla and her daughter Kristina both seem to love DIMASH. Alla was living in Israel after Russia invaded Ukraine, which she was not in agreement with and DIMASh seems to have curtailed his concert and activity for the same reason.
For more poppy music, I'd recommend one of Dimash's original compositions, Be With Me (English). The official MV is very fun and funny. I also like Fly Away (English) at New Wave 2021 and Okay (Russian) MV. For something more in the rock vein, try Go Go Power Rangers. It always puts a smile on my face. Dimash was still quite young and seems to be really enjoying himself.

Yes, he sang Queen's "Show Must Go On" on "The Singer" in China and a couple of years later went back as a guest to sing a Queen Medley with the Super Vocal Boys. During that time, his English improved vastly, too. He has a newer release that will stun you with his versatility: "Durdarai." He's also performed some pop influenced by Michael Jackson. In Hong Kong over Christmas, he also introduced a new song styled as blues where he looks a bit like Elvis.
At the latest concert in Hong Kong, Dimash popped out two new songs (not yet studio versions) "When I've got you" and "Smoke", showcasing his multifaceted persona and voice. At yesterday's Virtuosos performance he performs a duet with Placido Domingo (The Pearl Fishers' Duet from Bizet's opera - must hear). Omir Oter has a heavy metal sequence, and War and Peace, Durdaraz and Golden. Dimash is one of the healthiest addictions❤❤❤

When Dimash performs at the Kremlin, he says he doesn't need ear-ins because the acoustics there are so excellent. (There are other videos that confirm this)
Maestro Igor Krutoy (piano) and Dimash presented the song first on Alla Pugachova's 70th birthday on April 2019. She is a famous singer in Russia. The event took place in the Crocus City Hall in Moscow.
Maestro Krutoy composed this song 28 years ago for Alla Pugacheva. Valerya Gorbacheva wrote the beautiful words. Now Igor and Dimash have refreshed the song and Dimash made it his song, incomparably beautiful. The interpretation is completely different from the original. I melt away every time I hear the song.
* Igor Krutoy, *1954 in Ukraine SSR. He lives and works in Moscow/ Russia. He is singer, a world- famous composer and music titan in Russia (billionaire). His family lives in the US. Krutoy came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash. The maestro and Dimash have been working together from time to time since 2018. They are friends and have a father-son relationship.
Krutoy wrote of what working with Dimash meant to him: “How lucky it is to be doing what you love to do, writing for such a brilliantly feeling singer, evoking deep emotion in the audience and being in demand'.

Everything from the online concert (usually marked 2021) is with his own band, no orchestra. So lots of drums, electric guitars and percussion. I would personally recommend War and Peace and Kieli Mekin. Golden is also rock based but that often suffers from copyright issues although some have had success using the version from the online concert.
I'd also recommend Durdaraz from the Almaty concert. It's rock but with the heavy use of traditional instruments too.
When I've Got You is a blues/rock combo but only fancams are available from the premiere at the Hong Kong concert, we're still waiting for the awesome vampire inspired MV that we saw a teaser of.

Dimash wrote the song "Give Me Your Love" as a tribute to one of his heroes Michael Jackson. I recommend his "live" concert performance version at the Barclay Centre New York. May I also recommend another fantastic singer from the UK 19 year old Lucy Thomas. She has just released her 5th studio album and in the autumn is starring in a brand new musical especially written for her called "Rosie" in London's West End. Please consider reacting to either her cover of the Barbara Streisand song "Evergreen" or her duet with her 14 year old sister Martha "Mary Did You Know?" I guarantee you'll love her she is very special.

Golden which is in English, Kieli Meken, and Dudaraz, both in Kazakh are more rockish. He has Fly Away, and Zhalyn, one in English, one in Kazakh, both pop. In his latest concert he has two new songs, When I Have You, Bluesy, and Smoke. Both in English, both modern and both for now only in fan cams. When I Have You has jumped to the top of my list. I’ve been following your channel and I love your reactions to Dimash performances. He’s got 3 newer songs that very different from his usual beautiful songs with Igor and you’ll be pleased to hear them. 1) Dudarai performed in China 2) Smoke recently performed in Hongkong 12/23/24 concert 3) Since I’ve Got You. The last 2 were composed by him. The Dudarai was originally a folk song in entirety but transformed the half part of the song into a jazzy pop song ( crossover)

This was a cover of Igor Krutoy's song premiered in 1994 or so by the great and only ALLA PUGACHEVA, a storm of passion on the stages, the Prima donna of Russia who standed her gound against Putin about the Russian invasion to Ukraine. They performed at the "A gift for Alla." concert for the anniversary of Alla Pugacheva in Moscow
6:14 This was the first time most people heard his, now, well known angelic melismas that were called his “MariahCareys” or his “avemarias” by non music specialised reactors. I guess that later evolved in his own version of “Ave Maria”

I think you would really like some of his Kazakh language songs. Omir was just released this last year and is an homage to his life and career at this point. He released this on his birthday and said it was a song for his Dear. It has some beautiful acoustic guitar work in it. Samaltau is a folk song that has some traditional Kazakh instruments in it. The kobyz, a 2 stringed instrument starts the song simulating wolves and other sounds heard on the Great Steppe. Durdaraz is more of a Kazakh rock song. One of his most recent releases is Dudarai which starts as a traditional folk ballad, but then morphs into a jazz song, showing another impressive side of Dimash's abilities on the piano!

From my point of view, I cannot make a top ranking of Dimash's songs, the original ones, regardless of the composer (Igor, Dimash or someone else), leaving aside the covers. I come back to the idea, so I can't make a top. Why? Simple: each song by Dimash has a different theme, a different melodic line, different feelings, different tonalities. Each track is unique in lyric, interpretation, musical essence and message. If you listen to one, you like it more, if you listen to another, you like it even more, you can't decide because you can't. There are pieces with a religious touch, patriotic pieces, pieces of love, pieces of courage etc. If in an interview Dimash was asked what song he likes, I don't know what answer he would give... Almost all of them are masterpieces. It is as if Dimash is a father of dozens of children. I don't think he could tell a difference between them. Each piece has its place in time and space, it is appropriate in a certain context, event. Each song takes you on a certain journey, be it magical, be it angelic, be it love or be it a story, either sad, or happy, or fighting, or patriotic. We have to be consistent and say that all the pieces are exceptional, not one can be compared to another, because a parent loves all his children the same!!! Second:
Dimash is a miracle, so his absolute powerful and unshakable presence on stage, compared by some to a god of music, sometimes to a prince or king, the energy he absorbs from the Universe, then how he anchors himself to the Earth, his connection with the Divinity, all at a place, it gives him the strength and confidence to "command the audience, to order the orchestra, to order the song", so that everything comes out the way he wants and how Dimash feels, that is unique. All these qualities are only at Dimash, absolutely. The goosebumps and hypnosis induced by Dimash are the characteristics of his concerts and appearance on stage, which are shaped by his endless beauty, sometimes translucent, sometimes sensual, sometimes angelic !!! Dimash is storm, thunder, lightning, sun, rain, smile, but also love and last but not least he is our hope and our daily light, he is our spiritual food when you put your head on the pillow and start dreaming like tomorrow it's a day… !!!!! Dimash has God's kiss on his heart!!!! Dimash's cerebral hemisphere are like the mathematics of song. The precision, the climax of the pieces, the breath control, all are mathematical. Nothing higher, nothing lower. Absolute accuracy !!! Not to mention, he has the number of destiny 7, the number of God. One more proof that Dimash is sent by God in the art of love through song!!!

Durduraz and Lay Down have a more metal feel. Golden is more rock. War and Peace, to me, is more alt rock like Muse. Weekend, Be With Me, Fly Away and Zhalyn are more like dance pop. Omir is very stripped back and heartfelt. The Story of One Sky.......❤
