whilst i have the spot light for a second can i suggest that you try to build a diy jet engine from the oxy-acetylene torch... just dont burn your house down.
all these crappy videos in my recommended, that i'd never subscribe too... and then there is this, that's not in my recommended, but love it. y u do dis utube?!
I love how there’s no background music or anything, that kind of shows how much focus goes into these kinds of videos as if it’s Adderall induces. In short it really sets the mood and I digg it
Hey I love your stuff! Some questions though: what's your background? mechanical? electrical? both? Can you provide any more specific info on the material you used for the body of it? It's seems really rigid but the snap in bit is excellent. What kind of fits did you design in for the snaps, and how precise is the laser cutter to make it all so perfect?
Both. The wood is cheap 1/8 inch birch plywood. The laser is mildly accurate on thin materials. The snap fits are usually trial and error, I went through two variations of the pin which holds the top and bottom covers on.
Man all these people in engineering all about getting it 100% perfect no mistakes and we got William osman breaking out a homemade fucking laser like "let's laser cook pancakes" and that attitude of "I cut them out backwards...whatever" is something I look up too. Thank you.
1:15 - For a direct measurement example,add a pickup for a spark plug wire,and you've got a timing light for an engine. :) 8:25 - "Because nobody likes roasted nuts" ?
Been rewatching of some of his older videos, and it's so noticable how much quieter and calmer he is. Also, caretaker offering her hand for Will to spit out the hotdog was so funny to me. :D
awesome vid! A good trick I learned for shielding noise is to wrap the wires going to the sensitive electronics with aluminum foil. But keep all the wires in the same foil tube, or else it might not work.
Did you use timers to ensure precise on/off times for the LED ? or only sleep in the loop() ? [edit] Nevermind, just found about your website, very well documented code, I'll try my best to understand it.
you're a freaking genius, I love your vids, so interesting and entertaining and well filmed and edited you seriously deserve more subs I don't understand why you don't have a lot more than you have. keep up the good work and I'm sure you will get there soon.

the lack of hesitation with caretaker sticking out her hand to take the bitten off hotdog from will when he had no idea where to spit it out. She'll be such a good mom, shes got so much experience with will being so childish.
"I think this method of fastening is something I'll definitely be using again in the future" 3 years later he uses almost exclusively duct tape and zip ties
Hey William nice video!! I just want to point out one thing, the shielding of the cables probably didn't worked because they were NOT grounded, and in order to create an electric-field screening you must connect the wires to a ground! Bye!
The contrast between 2016 video and your current content I feel the need to joke from a comment on an AvE video: Talking to AvE: "You finally crossed the border into insanity. You've worked hard for this!"
Little did he know that pursuing the RUclips career would leave his life in shambles. Viewing his vids in chronological order is like watching a car crash in slow motion.
Would any toroidal windings in addition to the twisting possibly filter out the emf spikes? You might also try using a shielded cable or some form of RF choke. Cheers and great project thanks : )
The life of a maker is easy when you have a laser cutter! Anyways thanks for another great video, and you should try to make the reverse/stopped drip fountain utilizing this.
This is so damn cool. I've alllways wanted to build one of these, but maybe with an arduino mini, running to a MOSFET to control the LED. That way I can vary the code on how it works to fine tune it. Maybe even change the duty cycle, with an LED overcurrent detector??? I don't know at this point, but all I know is that I love strobe lights. It's amazing looking at the harmonics of an object with it, and finding it's "note" :D P.S: I know this is a year old almost, but do you still fly RC Choppers? That looked like a 6CH one to me, since the rotor head is quite complex. I used to love these things.
Yeah the parts are pretty damn expensive. I have 2 6CH helis on my shelf, a 250 and 120 size... But I'm so afraid to fly them, because one crash can cost you hundreds in repairs :/
you should attach a tachometer to it and point it to a car wheel(maybe mount in on top) to make it look like it's not spinning while you drive at night
Wow, this is a very tame and educational Will

Hi Peter!
That moment when you found the new best youtube chanel on earth but it only has 5 videos ...
Why do you do this to me ?! Why ?!!!
MrBleulauneable I know I'm like 8 months late but I found a channel with 1 video
MrBleulauneable i know it sucks but it is because he takes weeks on some projects he has

It's been three now.
Hope you're still having a great time.

This low energy style of video is actually suprisingly relaxing! Love it keep it up
