    Hey I love your stuff! Some questions though: what's your background? mechanical? electrical? both? Can you provide any more specific info on the material you used for the body of it? It's seems really rigid but the snap in bit is excellent. What kind of fits did you design in for the snaps, and how precise is the laser cutter to make it all so perfect?

    • @williamosman
      @williamosman 8 лет назад +72

      Both. The wood is cheap 1/8 inch birch plywood. The laser is mildly accurate on thin materials. The snap fits are usually trial and error, I went through two variations of the pin which holds the top and bottom covers on.

That way I can vary the code on how it works to fine tune it. Maybe even change the duty cycle, with an LED overcurrent detector??? I don't know at this point, but all I know is that I love strobe lights. It's amazing looking at the harmonics of an object with it, and finding it's "note" :D
    P.S: I know this is a year old almost, but do you still fly RC Choppers? That looked like a 6CH one to me, since the rotor head is quite complex. I used to love these things.
