So I'm no expert but I thought I'd let people know what I did I printed the gen-6 setup for my Ender 3 version 2 with a bond Tech and then I reprinted it where the extruder motor face forward not only did it balance the entire setup I was able to use any stepper motor that I wanted
Can you post a list of the exact files that you chose to print from the HeroMe Suite file folder. There are over 300 files to choose from and a few of the parts that are specifically for Creality have multiple options to choose from. Can you identify the particular file names that you used for your HeroMe set up? (i.e. name of Cable Tower file / name of ABL Mount file / name of Gantry Adapter file / names of any files that you printed from the Options folder that is also included in the suite) etc. etc. Your help would be greatly appreciated
Hi thanks for the video I want to replicate iit on my CR10-S even bough the hero me cros reference. what is the lenght of the PTFE tube if you can recall? Thanks!
I’ve recently done some printing on one of my Ender 3 v2’s using recycled pop bottles made into filament using a pullstruder machine I built. Prints best at about 255-259 C degrees. Would this setup of yours be beneficial for this sort of thing considering the higher temps needed as well as the odd shape and consistency of the homemade PETE filament?
Hello, I have an ender 3 v2 too and i want to build it just like this one! What files for the 3d printable parts were used here? And also what fans were used. I also want to know what hotend is used and what backplate. Much love from germany!!! Keep up the great work. Thanks and lucky printing

Hi Daniel. Thanks for the wonderful video. Did you have to modify the firmware when you replaced your extruder motor to the pancake motor? did you have to change Vref in your motherboard? I want to do the same modding to my E3 V2. Thanks for the help!
i tried hero me on ender 3 but the fact it used stock creality hotend and drive system wanst even nearly proper. Then i bought hemera. Then it wanst enough so i bought rat rig. Now i can print 500mm/sec.
I´m wondering how you installed the dual fans. Do you just make a Y split from the standard fan cables? I will convert my Ender 3 v2 to Hero Me V6 in a couple of weeks and can´t find anything on this particular problem. (this is my first upgrade so I don´t realy know what I´m doing)
What parameters did you use for pancake extruder stepper? I can't make working this stepper on my Ender 3 V2 Neo with motherboard v4.2.2. Did you change voltage on the drivers?
hi - what would you recommend i review for wiring this up? I'm not sure how to use the voltage converter, and I haven't done any printer upgrades involving opening up the control box so i'm in the dark on that part. I bought the hero me manual and it doesnt include any wiring diagrams in there that i've found. thanks!
I have just installed the HMG7 on my Ender 3 V2 with BMG DD rear mounted, with a slim stepper so that the stepper will not hit the upright extrusions. I had just one big issue which I cannot find a correct solution for with the STL files: The ABL mounting parts, the wing and bracket, it is too wide and hits the X stop box on the left side. I cannot put it on the right where this problem would not occur, because I have the cable management tower there, and all my cabling suits that now. I find this to be very frustrating and I am surprised that such an obvious problem was left unresolved by the creator!
Hi Glen, I have the same setup and no problems. The only thing that crosses my mind is that you used a too big ABL wing/bracket combo. I used the smallest one that I can and it's OK. Also if you want, you could put it on the right side on top of the wire tower, because they are stackable.

Wish you youtubers would stop recommending weird voltage fans. There are plenty of quiet 24v fans available on the market....maybe try a video demonstrating those?

Cool. Use Klipper firmware to get your printing quality to another level
Great video as always. Can´t wait to see the results of the modification. I only have one question for the giveaway: It will be international?

I want to do the same modding to my E3 V2.
Thanks for the help!
I was wondering about that.
Have you done any changes on the E vref, for the pancake motor?
Not yet so far it runs fine with the default

I dont really know what to download and print
Great and interesting video as always
Looking forward to hearing about your experiences with the new setup
Thanks for sharing :-)

For anybody wondering, since this comment I‘ve build my own and a Y split (if you have the right fans for your printer) works just fine.
How does this compare to the the bondtech bmg and if I have a ender3v2 is the bondtech ddx better?. I have a dragonfly hotend
Thank you.
can some one helpme.. can this upgrade using a spider hotend v1?

Во сколько раз стала голова в сборе больше весить относительно голого экструдера?
I wonder how much heavier it is than the H2?
Thanks.
Is there any adapter for BIQU B1 SE PLUS????

Do all these things fit the ender 3 pro ?
Yes, these parts work with all the Ender 3
Clearences gibt es nicht, nur clearance.
