Thanks Dave. I look after 4, a snecma/french with PO3, Moroccan built with Gipsy 10-2, & a Belgian one with a Lycoming 0-360... Bit like a box of chocolates, but, like the chocks...sweet things👍
@@davehadfield5906 Your people look to have made a nice job with the restoration. If you get this side of the pond, look me up. You may have flown a CAP 10b? If not, try mine. You'll like it, I'm sure👍
Nice to see an SV4B flown as it was intended to.
Awesome! Very inspirational.
Very impressive to be flying aerobatics, heck, flying at all at 86.
One of my hangar mates has just turned 80 and I'm in awe. I hope I'm still flying the Luscombe at your Dad's age !!
That is just awesome guys!
Love this!
Just Fabulous :)
Increible!
Very nice
Wonder what he thinks of a camera on his helmet!! God bless the man.
Was this a Stampe used by RCAF stationed in Germany, just after it came out of Belgian AF service?
That's where it came from, yes. It was transported back to Canada in the belly of a Herc in the early '70s.
Another good one Dave. Have you got the Renault PO3 or 5 fitted..or have you got the Gipsy? I liked the air start on the Renault.
Gipsy 10. It's a Belgian Stampe.

@@gilbertdavies Four! Good on you!
Ours had a recent IRAN and fabric recover from Grand Valley Aircraft Restorations in Ontario. Super job.

@@gilbertdavies Nice of you to offer. I'd love to do that - thanks!

You should see my Ground Loop
Fantastic! Is it still the original Renault engine?
It's a Gipsy Major. This Stampe is a Belgian SV4B. The French-built ones have the Renault, and are SV4Cs.
Tail comes up fast...
Yep. He has a strong left foot, and likes to see forward early.

HTMPFCGS It's RCAF Harvard, '50s vintage Pre-Takeoff Check. Works in many aircraft.
