My guy paid for the “get here yesterday” shipping
Decided to dive right into the hobby and opened a series 2 Jumbo box. Pulled a Red Foil Pitcher's Nightmare Slam Diego, Green Foil Javy Baez, Black Favorite sons Rizzo, Auto Bligh Madris RC, Babe Ruth Commemorative, A Gold Moncada, Moustakas, and Bednar. Also pulled a Favorite Son McCutcheon, Legends of the Game Ichiro, and a Cortes Relic. Got an itch for more so bought 4 packs from a hobby box at a local shop. Pulled a CT3 Independence Day! Huge Dodger fan and couldn't believe it. Bought 2 Hobby boxes and gonna take a break after, but I'm super pumped so far and can't wait to open the Hobby's!

After 25 years I finally took up trading cards again. I bought my first 2 packs and got a Bob Gibson Legends of the game and a Tony Gwynn card.

I'm somewhat shocked by how expensive the All Aces Ohtani is right now (~$20). It would be double that if it was in this set instead with those odds. I'm an insert fan, so I'm glad there's a lot of interesting ones. Interested to see who will be the Home Field Advantage players this series!

Major league material of Brett Baty, green Dansby Sanson 116/499, Heavy Lumber ( Gunnar Henderson), Aaron Judge crowning achievements comm. patch card HR-RBI leader and the big hit was from the silver pack autograph Masataka Yoshida topps chrome rc 64/99
The All Aces insert from S1 was probably my favorite insert ever out of any baseball product

Good call on those SP/SSP. I'm back in after 30 years or so and pulled a Wander SP without knowing what I had. Some marking would be nice for these old eyes, that code is tiny. haha
New to collecting, have opened 3 retail blasters from series 1 and got absolutely nothing. Preordered a Series 2 hobby box based on your recommendation and am excited to hopefully pull my first decent parallel/relic/auto!
Years ago I bought my first box of Topps jumbo baseball. Pulled a Ernie Banks auto on pack number one. I was like “ Hey nothing to this hobby”. Hahahaha

Series 1 retail was just as good if not better then hobby was for us. Pulled a Christopher Morel auto from a hanger so that was really nice. Heavy lumber acuna jr was our best hobby hit. Hopefully for series 2
Haven't come out in our neck of the woods just yet, may have to go over to eBay to try and find a good deal on at least one hobby box. Will try to land some of those hangers and fat packs if they ever show up here LOL. Loved the video, you seemed to do a little bit better in this rip than what you did in the first rip of this product. Keep up the great work and you and your family have a good, safe, fun and blessed rest of your day and week.

Series 1 was actually very good to me. Pulled an auto, green foil, ace and some golds out of retail.

You mentioned the whole people asking me to slow it down. Tough to dial in on the who's hot too because it changes as the season continues. Pre season it was almost strictly Harris and Adley but it's changed quite a bit since then. I do think it was nice though to describe all the nuances of collecting. Maybe make a video about the basics of collecting, explaining terms, what to look for, etc? Maybe you've made that video but I don't remember seeing it. I know it can be intimidating getting back into the hobby. Love the content though, keep it up man.
Stryker should start doing voice overs for movies....chills lol....Nice first box with the rookie gold and the rookie auto. Adley was a neat card. I like the inserts in this set. That black is nice but yeah I groaned to when I saw the name.
Yeah I was collecting Basketball Cards in the late 80s early 90s, the Jordan-Bird-Magic-Shaq era, and the Inserts were the absolute fire. I don't recall ever seeing a parallel in either sport back then. I collected Baseball from the mid 70s though to about 87-88, I didn't like the junk wax trend so I quit.
im new to collecting went all out on buying retail boxes 600.00 bucks worth still waiting for it to come in the mail cant wait ive been a yankee fan for all my life

I ripped a TON of series 1. Jumbos & hanger boxes mostly. Will probably only get a few hangers of series 2. Although the rookie checklist is solid for series 2 I liked the series 1 better
I got lucky, I ripped 4 Series 1 Blasters and got a Gold Outman, a Green Foil Peraza, Retail Blues of Otahni and Acuna, and a couple of Rainbow foils. Oh yeah, and a Vintage Stock of some scrub, I'd have to look to see who it was, a White Sox Pitcher I think
I got a Ruiz rookie auto out of Series 1 LOL. I had no idea his actual rookie was going to be in series 2.

I hate the golden mirrors, and I just hope and wish they bring back the regular sp and ssp etc
Got a hobby box from series one, and was disappointed. One gold, two rainbows and a relic. The relic was numbered to 25, though. But not many hits for a hobby box. I thought the inserts where poor, so that didn’t help. I don’t like the All Aces as much as others do.
Looking forward to getting series 2. The WBC cards look like a decent insert.

Awesome sneak peak! I refused to be apart of Series 1. I felt that the collector was getting robbed. When you cant go hobby, and retail is your option. You have to choose what you collect, and I went Stadium Club Chrome route. I will get some hobby boxes and retail of Series 2. Thank you for sharing
I’m new to collecting. Do you know when these hobby boxes be available in hobby stores? Also, what do you do with all your base cards? Do you try to complete the set? Thanks.
I put the base set together in a binder. After that, I give away my extra base commons. I put them in team bags and take them to either a hospital to give to kids who are sick, or to a women/children shelter in town. There are guys online who will take your common cards and give them to children’s hospitals.

Hey I've got a newbie question. I bought 2 hobby boxes thinking I'd rip one and hold one for several years. Is it even worth it to hold for profit considering possible redemption cards expire?

It sucks to see Topps pull a Panini and remove all the good hits out of retail. At least they aren't trying to sell hobby boxes for over $1000. Series 1 isn't even worth buying anymore with how they produce so many different rookie cards. If a player has a true rookie card in series 1,2 and update, whats the point?
