Suggestion for the next Objects vs Human: Human asks Ice Cube to try to be nice to Pin. She refuses, recalling the “swing incident”. Human tells her that what she did to Pin in retaliation wasn’t better. 2 wrongs don’t make a right after all. With the vengeful cube cornered, she relents and tries to talk to Pin. She locates Pin and tries to strike up a conversation, but Pin, recalling BFDIA 11, immediately tries to flee from the petty cube, knowing that no matter how badly she slips up in front of Ice Cube, history could repeat itself. Pin eventually runs out of energy and scared for her safety asks Ice Cube what she wants from her. Ice Cube replies that she doesn’t want revenge, but to apologize. Pin asks why in Yoyleland is she doing this. Ice Cube replies that she understands that Pin was just trying to stand up for her in a misguided attempt to help her. She goes on to state that she feels horrible for what she did to Pin, and although she doesn’t know what it’s like to lose your face, she nonetheless states that she forgives Pin. Pin on the other hand isn’t so easily forgiving, flashing back to all the trauma that FreeSmart put her through. She states that an apology alone won’t erase everything she did, so she asks to be alone with her thoughts. Ice Cube obliges and leaves, feeling proud of doing an act of forgiveness.
