Great! Extra time as usual team. You got to love Stevie flossing. It doesn't get better than this folks. This is the peak of television!
Pep was actually the first to send Sancho packing from City to Dortmund 😂
There’s nothing to think about that question. Rodri by far the most important player for Man City. It’s already proven that without Rodri, City can’t win games but without Haaland they would still score a lot of goals
Alvarez would just step into that Haaland role
Bull💩. We all know the only reason City are as good as they are is because of Pep. Rodri is playing well but even if he left or got injured City would still destroy teams without him. Thats what makes City special their manager is a genius.
@@ededdneddy988 Rodri suspended for 3 games = City lost 3 games. It's not rocket science, dude.
@@CoconutJewce people said the same about KDB ( Man City and Haaland are nothing without him) and guess what? Man city kept winning and Haaland keeps scoring. So you're basing your whole theory on a measley 3 games? lol. It's not about winning the battle it's about winning the war. Pep always finds a way without important players
@@ededdneddy988 It's not a theory; it's a fact. Anyone that's seen City play knows how vital Rodri is in keeping that engine running. Pep doesn't have a replacement for him. Pep is using Alvarez as a replacement for KDB and it's been working better than anyone could've imagined.
This show always completes my day!!
Man U can turn Pep into dimentia and Klopp into a mad man fit for mental hospital, if both were to manage this circus club.😇😇😇
Pep knows a poisoned apple when he sees one
They would have probably sacked him way before he proved his worth
Rodri, obviously. Rodri is indispensable to the City team. There is no player or players on the current club roster that can replace him. Rodri himself was a replacement for Fernandinho, who was irreplaceable before that. If Pep wants to do without Rodri, he has get someone else from somewhere else. Without Haaland, City can still nick goals from other players somehow, as we have seen from previous seasons. Haaland goals will help City win the race. But without Rodri, they can't even make it out of the starting line.
If he didn’t have Rodri, Pep would’ve bought another world class CDM to replace him. Rice, Palhinha, Kimmich, etc. could all do the job if they were coached by Pep.
@@monokumaxd1943 Yes, that is why I said the current roster of players. He would have to get someone else from somewhere. Also it didn't work with Kalvin Phillips. He can still rely on the other City players to nick a goal or two even if Haaland is not available.
@@hailyrizzo5428Pep would have found his Rodri in that team
People actually have it twisted with Antony, he can actually play comfortably at city, if you actually watch him properly and don't spend all your time crying about what rivals are saying you would notice that he just doesn't suit United way of play, he's not a counter attack sort of player his game would suit a system based off of patience on the ball, lots of passing (one-two's) he can definitely handle city's wavelength of passing, some exchanges between him and bernardo Silva with walker overlapping, THAT is how you would get the best out of Antony not with the nonsense United do, yes there's still imperfections in his game but he's young and definitely coachable, pep would make a baller out of him
He has no right foot and when he uses his left hes garbage 😂 5 shots on target out like 25 shots hes bang average
@@steelflexy Maybe I'm wrong, but I think people who watch football genuinely without bias would know I have a point.. yes I know he hasn't been great for us but I think it's a suitability issue more than other reasons
I call it the João Felix situation at Chelsea.Where you have a good player in a system they are not accustomed to.
I think in terms of consistency and importance Rodri is the best player at Manchester City right now and has been over the last 12 months in my opinion despite the goals Erling Haaland is scoring right now. He is their MVP their lynchpin unsung hero and the one that makes them tick in terms of what he does in possession his passing long and short defending aerial duels tackling positioning etc and as a defensive midfielder he can do everything in attack and defense.
He was very critical in them winning the treble last season and after Manchester City won the Champions League I was shocked that Rodri won champions league player of the season but UEFA recognized his excellent performances throughout the season his importance and how pivotal he was to the team in big moments and this was just a great example on how football isn’t just about goals and assists when looking at how impactful a player is to a successful team. This season when he served a 3 game suspension Manchester City lose 3 straight domestic games including losing back to back premier league games for the first time since 2018 and I’ve said it many times he’s one of the most irreplaceable players in the team and none of the Manchester City midfielders can replicate what he does and the defensive midfield position is an important position in football. After he came back from his suspension Manchester City have won 3 straight premier league games against Brighton Manchester United and Bournemouth and it highlights how valuable he is to the team and Pep Guardiola as his presence on the field elevates their attack and defense. Seeing the way Manchester City struggled without Rodri and how much better of a team they are with him it’s very evident on why people need to start watching games a little more and not worry about just the stats sheet but unfortunately we live in a world of football where people are obsessed with stats and this guy is genuinely one of the best players in the world and he’s incredibly consistent and if he doesn’t get injured and keeps his discipline in check Manchester City will continue to be successful and win more and more trophies this season. Unfortunately defensive midfielders simply don’t get the love that they deserve and while he doesn’t dominate the stats sheet Rodri has contributed heavily to Manchester City’s success in recent years and while we’re praising him more than ever before we shouldn’t overlook the impact he has on the team.
100% Rodri is most important.
Can you summarize your comment please. It’s too long to read it all.
in the last 12 months in terms of how consistent his performances have been Rodri has been Manchester City’s best player their MVP and he is one of the most irreplaceable players in the world and from that defensive midfield position he can do everything.
his importance to the team was highlighted when Manchester City lost 3 straight domestic games when he served his suspension and lost back to back premier league games for the first time since 2018 and we never thought that they would look very vulnerable without Rodri who’s the lynchpin and the glue of this team. Manchester City have won their last 3 premier league games against Brighton Manchester United and Bournemouth with him back in the side as he elevates their offense and defense and I think it’s clear that fans need to pay more attention to games instead of watching the stats sheet seeing the difference in quality with and without him. he doesn’t just bring goals and assists to this Manchester City team he’s consistent and has been such an integral player for them in the last couple of years.
Everyone is important on that team. It is an adjustment when anyone leaves
What is hilarious Pep was available to take over Man Utd when Fergie retired and even had a meeting with Pep when he had a year off from Barcelona, and Fergie advised the Man Utd board not to offer the job to Pep And Klopp and give the job to his friend from the same city David Moyes. That favouritism in picking a friend instead of the best candidate was the start of the decline of the team.
Becuz he knew Pep and Klopp would have absolutely taken United to HEIGHTS..He was scared for his own legacy
That’s false. Fergie tried to get Pep, Pep is the one who refused. Get the story right. Pep said it himself in a book that Fergie got in touch with him, but that’s not the job he wanted.
@@Triple_X_XI hate to say it but this is exactly what i thought. If this is true i would of expected less pettyness from ferguson
Nope pep took the Bayern job before fergie could take a final decision on his retirement that’s the reality
You just made that up. Moyes was not Fergie's first choice.
Amazing🔥😊 0:04
Pep would have replaced all the players in his first 2 seasons with intelligent and trophy hungry players rather than highly paid sulkers!
Man Utd with Pep would be exactly where they are now - the entire club is poison, I'm sure they would break him too
Look at that smile on Josh's face. Mini Dan right there
Excellent banter this episode. And I love Frank's theater career.
ESPN FC rocks, good analysis but they have serious fun and laugh at themselves, love it.
“The dog went and got a bit of a gallop going” 😂😂😂😂
Pep was Fergie's first choice and had meeting when Pep took sabbatical back in 2012 and Fergie apperantly told Pep to phone him before he accepted any offers from any club but Pep didn't and was announced as Bayern head coach this was on Fergie's autobiography, I remember Pep later got questioned about this and said he didn't recalls about being offered the job but added maybe he missed it because Fergie talk fast and with scottish accent 😂
Pep alone at ManUtd would not had done much. Pep & Txiki Begiristain together at ManUtd would do the same there as they have done at ManCity ... If the board didn' t interfere in their tasks / roles. This is important, I don' t think Pep & Txiki would had worked well with the Glazers skimming money out from the club via over-inflated transfer fees of mediocre players and paying interest and capital on the loan to purchase the club. In fact,. Txiki Begiristain left FC Barcelona before Pep because of Sandro Rosell meddling in Txiki's role of technical director trying to impose Brazilian players in order to further Sandro' s particular private business in Brazil.
@@Xoman08 at least Pep would've handle it much better than Moyes did that's for sure as he was coming from Barca a club of similar stature where's minimum requirements was winning the league
Man united fans are too in love with Alex Ferguson.
No
If pepe was at arsenal Chelsea united he would have used the same money these clubs spend on players like aguero fernandhino edersen de brunya ilkay gundaguan etc and would have won league by 3rd year
If is a wonderful word
Frank , Pep let Sancho leave bcuz he recognized thats his attitude was one of confrontation !
Xabi Alonso winning the Bundesliga with Leverkusen would be astronomical.
Hand Pep the keys to Old Toilet and he'd make a perfect use of it..
He'd take the first word "Old" and replace it with "Public"
Would not be different at all. Peps always took well manage and give him all owners
Great choice Franc. The z Kaiser one of the best ever.
Most casuals dont understand that you are the best coach not only by trophies you win but the players you select for the system you want. The most important quality of the coach is to read the players quality and develop the player role for his system. Thats why I call Pep the GOAT even though I was once a hater when Pellegrini was sacked.
Well let's see. If Pep was Man Utd's manager, the first thing he would do would be to make some signings. So Haaland, De Bruyne, Alvarez, Walker, Ederson, Akanji, Foden.......
No meeting with the Normandie officials, Franck? :P
Trick question, Pep wouldnt take the job knowing how Is run by the owners
I guess Stevie might not have been aware that Pep actually wanted to sign Evans in the past....The quality players that United have ,have never played at their best with any lebel of consistency. If United through out the recent years was able to reach 2nd twice and 3rs last season.... Pep would make United win the title, since he would have attracted top players and spent the money better.
No way pep, would struggle like any other manager at utd.
Pep will kill him(anyhony) on the pitch right away with his attitude in a funny way😂😂😂
Rodri is far more important to City than Haaland.
How delusional can you be, thinking Pep would turn around Man U this season.
Pep probably will be declared medically insane.
That's actually an interesting question... city would still be city...i dont think even pep himself would be able to beat the monster he has created
Jan taking no prisoners 8:36
Pep would replace all the players at United in two windows.
pep needs players who can pass and hold the ball and not many in the squad can do that.He will probably have to sell half the squad players(and united are awful at selling players) just like he did at city in the beginning.
United have sold and bought most of their players since they last won a major trophy.
Ten hag was supposed to play positional play when he was brought in..instead he is adopting transitional football
yeah because pattern and style of play takes time to build...he has to play different players every week because of the injuries united have so its difficult to have patterns of play.
He is just being pragmatic and playing transitional football as these players have played like this under jose and ole.
@@barca-vibe you have a lot to learn..
guys like Mctominay casemiro Rashford Bruno Shaw Magure Evans garnacho arent good in position..
If this was man city those players would have been sold and ETH would have gotten the players that play Total football or Ajax way. in 2016, Pep came and cleared a whole lot,
@@kukunase1686 is mason mount or amrabat or antony very good in positional play? Casemiro was a ten hag signing as well
Jose Morinho will make MU more competitive and PL will be like La League in el Classico between MU and MC.
Lol you forgot what Jose did to Manutd. 😂 Jose spent record breaking money for Pogba
Stevie Nicol Teddy Boy
Unlike Fergi who took 7 years to win prem title and 13 years to win Champions league, it'd have taken THE GOAT just 2 seasons to win United the prem title
You must be dumb, dumber, or stupid, United back then didn't have money, wasn't in the top 5, transforming that team and maintaining that team is not easy, Pep had a strong team, lots of money to spend
Yeah right. It took him 2 seasons to win it with City, who had a much better squad +infrastructure than what Fergie had to deal with when first getting to United.
To this day, Pep has not done what Klopp or Fergie have done, which is take smaller club or a club in mediocrity to the top. Fergie did it with Aberdeen. Meanwhile Pep has hand picked the easiest jobs possible (Bayern and City).
Anyone who knows the game pretty well jettisioning sentiments, understands that pep has genius brain in football management and tactics ,No coach has been able to play the way he marshals his team ,keep in mind, he destroyed man united under fergie 😮😊😊😊,,
Dummy Fergie built a squad from scratch and with a lot of home grown players. Don’t forgot City won the league couple of years before Pep joined so he inherited a decent squad.
@@solenstyle What better squad??? 😂😂😂 Have you clowns forgotten about His Barca days???
The man came in one of Barca's worst times even tho they won Champions league 2 seasons before in 2006, Rijkard left Barca in shambles
Pep came in and sold Ronaldinho, Eto'o and Deco for bunch of La Masia kids..
Tell me any Manager would and could have done that?? NO ONE!!
Pep had the guts to sell them and brought in La Masia kids ; Busquets, Pique and Pedro..He then brought then Alves and Villa..
He managed Messi know becoming the Messi we all know..He helped polished Iniesta and Xavi..
He took Barca to heights never seen before, making them unstoppable from 2008 to 2012 to which his foundation still lingers in Barca to this day..
He developed Kimmich
He came to Prem and proved arrogant Prem wrong when they said his style wouldn't even beat Stoke City..
He developed KDB, Rodri, Silva..
He made decent players into great players..The man won Treble with players like Ake, Akanji and Grealish..What mode do you want..GOAT by a planet 🐐
Can Frank do a mime performance of Stevie raking leaves?
I would watch a Stevie and Craig show where all they do is go on holidays and watch football in the pub
The Ten Hag disrespect is hurting me. If Pep was at United he would have been unsuccessful. United's whole structure is a joke, 6 managers have all gone through the same problem. Pep would have been fired at year 2. City,Bayern and 2009-12 Barca = structured and well run clubs
Thats the catch, Pep wouldnt take the job knowing how the club Is run unless they gave him enough power
Pepe wouldn't have bought jadon shanco Anthony mount he would have got doku Alvarez etc and definitely pushed for 4th
@@rashidkhalid3970 txiki begiristain, that's who buys players while Pep concentrates on coaching. City has a world class DOF while United has an amateur in that position who has no capabilities or network to get proper players for the club
sorry , but pep need a supporting cast to bring the talent in. that also means spending money. Manchester united has never been good as spending money the right way. They usually spend money late in the transfer window and spend way to much.
Pep coaching ManUnited with the same players? He would get the same results or worse.
Pep and man u would be interesting 😂
If Arteta was at Liverpool, he'd would be kicked out of the league.
City scored 99 goals in the epl the year before Haaland joined but scored only 94 goals with him last season.
So.....make of that what you will.
Pep would not get the 115 + hookup
Is yawn smoking pot or something, Rodri is a key for pep’s city success, city can easily win treble without halland, whoever thinks otherwise lacks serious ball knowledge ngl
CAMPEON!!! WINNERS!!!!
Pep didn’t make every player better. He didn’t even give Joe Hart a chance
Dam so ppl wanted the ballon dor to be someone who not even the most important player on his own team?
As a united fan we happy pep stay as long as he want at city to fight with united. United never fade...
Lol, they faded about 12 years ago mate!
Guardiola is a great/best manager but Manchester City’s staff also plays a big part in how great City is. Their cooks, training staff, medics, etc. Just Guardiola alone wouldn’t put United in the same level as City is right now.
So Barcelona’s cooks staff and boys are also great? Why didn’t they do it without Pep nowadays?

Rodri. The fact that so many people say Rodri answers the question to if Haaland was robbed with the Balon
Rodri, obviously. This is one reason why it will be difficult for Haaland to win the Ballon d’Or at City. His team doesn’t even need him to win titles.
Pep would have made smarter decisions, like not buying average Erdevise players. Ten Hag has purchased 4 players straight from the Erdevise. Two mid table Serie A players. If ETH had signed a guy like Harry Kane, they would be sitting in a better position.
Man United made ESPN FC.
Rodri of course! Pep already won this league without a striker
SAF picked his mate Moyes over Pep 😂😂😂
8:45 AWB, Shaw, Rashford. And Pep's got Kalvin Phillips that's been a complete letdown. No one denies that Pep is top 2-3 managers ever, but let's not glaze too hard, alright? He's got an amazing team behind the scenes that was all in place before he joined. Like always, he joined a well-oiled (ha) machine.
The question asked starts @ 6:40
Sancho has literally misbehaved with pep
That's a stupid question, they would obviously be where city are
Pep/Klopp would never have been managers of united as fergie never wanted anyone to surpass his legacy that’s why he offered job to moyes as he knew he would fail 😂
Lololololol thanks for the chuckles dude lololololol you are a genius dude.
Pep at United?? That first 11 should start packing their bags 😅.
5 minutes in and they haven't talked about football yet.
Pep would perhaps go up the table a couple spots, maybe sixth. If Pep had all the injuries Ten Hag has, his entire starting defenders injured and out for months, two midfielders out with injuries and off pitch problems, no....Pep is great but he is not a miracle worker.
It would have be the same
jan is so bias towards haaland, he ghosted in both semifinals and final, saying he won city the CL is like saying enzo won argentina the WC
bring SAF back and look if he can compete with pep and klopp
Stevie is right about Pep.
He would have thrown in the towel at Man Utd with these players.
When he decides you are not good enough, that is it!
He would not be able to field 11 players at Utd he thought were good enough.
If Pep surely MU is going to dominate the EPL for a long time.
ManU need an Eraser type coach. He may weaken the squad for the present, but at least he will throw out all the bad apples and that's probably 80% of the current squad. ManU need to start over entirely. Get players who are there because they love ManU, not because ManU offered the most money
Pep would need hella money and it would take 3 years for them to improve. Just like man city.
After all the hype about pep being legend ESPN still think United would finish 4th. That clearly means the players and their attitude is problem not manager.
Pep doesnt allow divas and player power in his team. He also doesnt play players who dont perform no matter how their transfer fee or wages or social ranking. He doesnt like his players to be all over social media. He wants his players to be humbled even if they are breaking records.
This alone would have solved many problems at Man Utd. And I havent even mentioned the football itself.
And if the board or owners dont listen to him he will simply leave. Because unlike some managers he would have a job ready everywhere he wants. He doesnt go to small clubs because only managers who cant get a job at big clubs or high wage go to smaller clubs. No one goes to small clubs because they like to.
When he took over barca, they were in shambles. Everyone saw what he did with barca B team which is how he got the barca A team job. He was the first manager to win treble in la liga and the youngest manager to win champion league.
Soon after he left, barca has been in shambles despite having the best players in the world.
Both his barca and city teams are contenders in the best team to ever play club football.
He changed football and everyone else is playing catch up. Pretty sure Man Utd under him would ve very different. after all Man Utd still spents the most money on players than any other club.
Factss!! One thing barca didn’t struggle after pep left..they won the treble again..doninated the league as well
Barca is barca before or after pep
Ofcourse peps barcelona was the best in history and it has never been the same but barca was still very good
2015 barca treble season definitely better than last seasons city treble team
But i agree everything else you said
Rashford wouldn’t even start any games this season in pep s team
But in utd he gets to play because of his last season s performance
In peps team a new season is a new season..everyone starts from the scratch
The glazers only back managers in their first season and that is it. You don't get your first choice and no manager should be blamed for bad price negotiation
As a jose fan I wish jose had kicked out many divas and poor performing players from his previous teams. I like that pep doesn't care about individual players statistics but team performance.
@@barca-vibe Barca won the treble in 2015 but that was their only UCL after pep and they had 3 of the top 3 worst and most humiliating exists in UCL history.

Good they didn’t. Pep and Klopp have the structures at their respective clubs to nurture their skills and talents, and careers and that of their players, past and present. MU don’t have that now. Hope they get a good CEO like a modern David Gill, a director of Football in Paul Mitchell, keep ETH for another full season and see how it goes. Time to get creative.
Doesn't matter whoever comes. He too woupd have been sacked by Glazers to avoid themselves being a scapegoat. Management is the problem and even Pep cannot do anything about it.
No where. Ten hag has been there 15 months. Two cup finals, third in the league. I think pep would be in a similar position in this time frame. The squad isn’t the best be wise of poor signings from previous managers. Give him time & have patience he’s the right man.

No one knows. Next question.
osep Guardiola to me cannot be objectively considered the "best" coach in the PL. Different coaches have different budgets/players to work with and the more resources at one's disposal, the easier it is to execute the job for the majority of the time (Barca, Bayern, Man City). Diniz at Fluminense or Vanhaezebrouck at Gent have to work with what they have which involves more of coaching out the problems with young and inexperienced players rather than running to the transfer market every time there is a problem
Pep would be good at any club with lot of money. Havent prove otherwise yet.
Can you tell me another manager who has done a leicester ? I am waiting
Definitely would be better than this
Simple, Man United would be champion.
Give Erik Ten hag more time and respect to heal Manchester united

I guess Ten Hagg is better than Pep because if Pep can only have bring United to 4th and Ten Haag brought them to 3rd and Ole brought them to 2nd
Why is it taking so long for the charges against Man City to be decided?
Jaja el ya hubiera gastado 2 billions😂😂😂😂
It depends how much control/faith the United board are willing to give Pep. Man United needs a complete restructuring, and they need to get rid of their useless players who only contribute negatively to the dressing room atmosphere. Thats only possible if you are willing to commit money and accept losses. One thing I will note though is Pep doesnt tolerate divas. Man City are the most successful team in the world right now because the players are so disciplined. You never hear about dressing room disputes, or players with huge egos who think theyre bigger than the club, whereas at United it happens pretty much every season. Pogba, Ronaldo, Rashford, Sancho, Bruno, Lukaku etc, etc. Their meltdowns would never be tolerated by Pep, or even other great managers like SAF in his prime.
Utd s best players won’t start in a pep team..facts
So you thought ETH tolerated that too before he got to Utd? I laugh at all these pundits. Pep avoided Utd for a reason.
Nothing at all with the current structure and set up .
"Every player that comes to city gets better". Except you know... all the ones he had to immediately replace with a 50+ million pound player because they... didn't...
How are these people experts? They really think you could plug and play with a new manager and United are magically going to be amazing??
Pep will win both PL & CL with MUN after changing the whole squad
No one can do well at united cause no fan gives the coach any time. How about give the guy some time
