Saw one in a second hand shop recently. I'm not personally interested in a machine that old, the 20th century is more my thing. It'd been standing for a while, but last time I was there it was gone. The lid was laying there in two pieces still. Sad to see, made me feel like I should've taken it. But you have to choose your battles. Nice one!

Sir, what did you use for a final clean on the finish before you put on the clear coat? It is beautiful.
This one isn’t clear coat, I softened the old shellac with alcohol, then I used new shellac, wax polish and sewing machine oil.
