it's hard to imagine that this is all minecraft. so many items and blocks we could only imagine in sims 4 or animal crossing but here they are in the block game we know and love. i praise the mod pack and cit designers of the community, and people like you, bliss, the builders who give them a purpose. minecraft is an amazing game on its own no matter what mode you play, but the community really comes together to make it shine!
I am once again filled with inspiration to make an entire city in minecraft with this mod and then spread out from there with all the cottage builds you do as well. I guess its time to find out if my laptop can handle this mod. wish me luck

If I'm ever having a lighting situation such as the one you described, I always find places to hide lighting blocks - sea lanterns etc, under stairs, under floorboards, they will still emit light if it's done the right way. Love your builds, you are fantastic!!!

I had that same lighting issue with the Cocricot chairs being super dark but I found a solution to it! Cocricot chairs just do not like being placed on top of full blocks for some reason and this causes them to become dark. I figured out that using a slab for the flooring (with space underneath) instead of a full block fixes the chair lighting issue! I have no idea why this works haha but I hope it helps :D
