That does interest me greatly! It would explain and validate my desire to take care of animals that i come across.I can hear people saying that they're just animals, they'll get by on their own or some such. Growing up,i was pressured by my relatives to do christian things. And i was just thinking that christianism isn't the only thing out there.I started dismissing the religion because of science at the time, cause when i became a teen i started reading up on that. Looking back now,it's possible it was just me feeling the religion not being right for me.I know for certain i've always believed in afterlife and rebirth.
Thanks for reminding me that religion really is pretty awesome. That is hard to come by especially on the Internet. Im a Male INFP and I was raised in a no rules whatsoever Mormon family. Meaning no one forced me to go to church. Anyhow it was pretty awesome realizing one day that you actually believe in some pretty crazy stuff and it coming across so naturally and almost entirely 'under the table'. On the outside it The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but really its like taking Christianity and superimposing Neopagan views of the nature of god(God with a body of Flesh and bones, a Divine Feminine). And Eternal progression-becoming like our creator like all other forms of life do. Also a spiritual creation prior to a the physical creation. Regarding the Hereafter-we dont really believe in heaven and hell, we do, but only as the place here on earth where our spirits persist without their bodies prior to the Resurrection. After the Resurrection it's like you introduce the Hindu views of the afterlife what we would call degrees of glory compared to the Sun, Moon and Stars. Also throw in there the Prophets and a lay clergy- Meaning a very strong and real belief in revelation just like the revelation Peter received with Cornelius (Acts 10,11).
Thank you for sharing, Anne!
