This is an homage to Moss, the elevator operator at Chicago's House of Blues. "I just wanna get down" is a reference to Kevin getting tired of waiting for the elevator. Tank the Tech has more details about the song & the upcoming album release his Elevator Operator reaction.
I still haven't seen Tank's reaction, but have heard the story, should get to it!
The Operator is Uke Bosse a German actor but also a professor teaching videogame development at the university in Berlin.
