As a Dane. You just convinced me to go there and try out empanada. I've not actually been to reffen before though I live in Copenhagen. But I will this spring.
@@RobeTrotting actually, the Argentinian and Chilean empanadas are not very spicy, in my experience.
@@RobeTrotting It depends a lot on who and where they do it. in buenos aires it is not so common to make them with potatoes, that is more common in the north of the country. both versions are very delicious👌
@@kriss3d you have to try everything, but I was just thinking this the other day that if you really want to try food from a country you have to try homemade food, I feel that if you go to a restaurant it doesn't really have that essence of the country.

the different hotdog variations on the cirkel k gas stations in denmark is also pretty great imo. love the chili cheddar dogs from there 😁

Yeah, I know the difference and almost ordered that one but it’s not what I wanted at the time. To be fair in English they’re all “hotdogs” so I don’t see an error since I was speaking English haha.

Turn back the time to 1986 last time I lived in Copenhagen and Denmark, no such thing as street food, only hot dog stand. But was at least something I could afford.
Tivoli is the third oldest amusment park in the world! Pratter in Vienna, Austria, is the second oldest (1766).

Tivoli opened up the doors to the public in 1843. Pratter did the same, but first 54 years later in 1897.

Streetfood.. Not excactly our greatest feat as danes.
Reffen.. Good food. But its (mostly)streetfood-types from other countries.
"real" danish streetfood is basically smørrebrød(but you would most likely not eat it on the street. you would bring it to a place where you can sit down at a table, with forks and knifes and all that shit, indoors most of year..) and what you can buy in a pølsevogn.. Rest is import.
Fair said. Some of the "imports" have been here 20-30 years so I gues theyre kinda danish at this point in time??
This is superficial of a guide. You really do not mention anything about all the vendors in the locations, or how many you have tried or anything. I also find you two very much like used car salesmen for Denmark. Denmark is not as great for foreigners that do not have a network ofLGBQ+ people to join in. In fact it is quiet lonely for those of us who are not fitting into such a community, and quite foreigner unfriendly.
Watch it again, slowly if necessary, and you’ll see us mention several vendors. You should make your own videos since you seem to have so many great ideas! We definitely acknowledge that Denmark isn’t perfect, and we share our personal experience - if that’s not your personal experience, again, you should make your own content and share yours. No one is stopping you.
