This song sounds incredible live, especially Simmons' bass. Some people say it's just a disco song, but it's really more rock.

If you know the song's history, disco was at its peak in the late 70s, and like most rockers, KISS despised it.
One day when Stanley was ranting about it, saying that the disco kings & queens could never equal KISS' songwriting power (let alone stage presence), someone challenged him, "OK Paul, but could YOU write a disco-style KISS song, that could be a hit ?"
The result speaks for itself 🤗
I remember hearing Paul saying when you hear this song live its how it was meant to be heard.

Saw them in Jacksonville on this tour , it was fantastic , into their 70’s and they are still putting on one of the greatest shows ever. No one does that. Kiss rules the world, 2nd isn’t even close

I saw Kiss at the TD garden in Boston it was an awesome show. My dad couldn't see Kiss in Boston because he was in the Hospital recovering and he got the tickets for me and him but me and my uncle went because my dad wanted me to see them but now. Me my mom and dad and some friends are gonna see Kiss again in 2020 at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield.

I won't lie, I momentarily thought that Paul was pulling off the most perfect lip sync possible. It's mindblowing, he hits and nails all of the higher vocal breaks while wiping the floor with current artists.

I remember this coming out and I bought the 45 right away. It was a different sound but it was still KISS. Loved the album and to me that was the pinnacle of the makeup and costumes.

I was in Montreal for both shows at the Bell Center during the End of the Road World Tour. The reason why I had to go to the second show is once my souse learned that I was made for loving you was on the set of the Band and Doc Mcgee had announced that there was going to be a second show in August of 2019 - guess what the next day I was online spending another $1800 for front row seats ! And boy it was pure magic ! We ended up going with my attorney and his wife !!!

I've been a kiss fan since my first concert in Detroit in 1975 when I was 6 years old. I personally prefer the original band members, then today's kiss and those two wannabes Thayer and Singer. Oh, and this version of I was made for loving you, sucks compared to the original version of the song, by the original members, Ace Paul Peter and Gene.

There are a lot of old school KISS fans who hate this song. It was meant to be heard live. That bass goes right through you and everyone knows the words...so that makes for a hell of a big choir!😮
