Thank you, Galina! Mekhmeneh attracts me so much. she's very different from the other heroines in ballet, she's independent, have power and onus to people and she is a suffering soul. And you showed us this precious torch passing moment between these great ballerinas of their generation. YES, THIS IS PRICELESS!
Thank you so much for posting this, Julia is my favorite ballerina and The Legend of love is my favorite ballet but could never find it the both together. It's a shame Vinogradov left Marinsky, I think he made better decisions then Gergiev.
What a rare find ! Thank you for posting. We should have seen more of Osipenko in the West but I think the Soviets got more paranoid after the Rudy defection. So Rudy's partners suffered. And the Kirov's unappreciative treatment of Makhalina is yet another story. Every missed moment with some of these great dancers is a great loss to us all and we're grateful for anything you provide us. Thank you again.

Визуальный ряд явно не в пользу Махалиной, к сожалению. Слишком видно, где ЦАРИЦА, а где всего лишь рядовая ПРИНЦЕССА, волею судеб получившая партию царицы.
