The skill gap that exists between conferences makes selecting teams for a playoff impossible. Imagine if MLB expanded their playoffs and started to include Triple A teams. Drop Boise St, SMU, Arizona St, Indiana or Notre Dame into the SEC with their current rosters and they finish 10th or lower in the conference. Clemson wouldn’t fair much better. And that’s half the playoff field.
I’ve got so many opinions on the playoff I don’t even know where to start. First off, Notre Dame. These losers haven’t won a major bowl game since 1994. 0-9 in the BCS era. 12 team format waters down the field and will probably allow them to beat Indiana, but I think Beck or no Beck, Georgia are two touchdown winners.

And I hate to be the bearer or bad news - but Sandusky is still alive and living on the taxpayers dime.
