Would love a part 2!! here are some words for it: WCA, Personal Record, Yau ,Hoya, COLL,ZBLL,Ortega,ZZ,Edge Orientation,CLL,EG1,EG2,reduction,key hole, pseudo slotting,PLL skip,OLL skip,LL skip, winter variation,VLS,OLLCP...... I'll add more when I remember more!
Actually if you want to get really technical, a 3x3 can have multiple solved states simply because all the centers can be solved rotated differently which is why a super cube can be so difficult
I think R U R' U' is called the sexy move because it's the move that can make you look good in a group of friends, because all you're friends see is you scrambling a cube while solving it at the same time if there not into cubing
How to calculate averages of solves: 1. Take out the best and worst solves of the average or just put them in parentheses. 2. Add up every time in the average. It can be in any order and it will still end up in the same sum. 3. Divide the sum by the number of solves in the average (except for the fastest and slowest solves) 4. And you're done! Now you have your average! How it's done: 1. (3.23), 4.38, 4.56, 4.76, (5.30) 2. 4.38 + 4.56 + 4.76 = 13.7 3. 13.7 ÷ 3 = 4.56 4.56 is the average of the ao5.
I think more cubing terms could be: WCA NAR WR PR LUBE MAGNETS COMP CORNER TWISTS/EDGE FLIPS/SWAPPED EDGES STICKERLESS MODS etc Idk why i did that in all caps but im not going back to change them lol
when people say algorithms that involve a trigger they often shorten it to just the name of the trigger and sexy move sometimes gets shortened even further to just "sexy"
Ok... here is something that kinda personally annoys me about your comment If you can solve a cube kinda fast then you’re a cuber You don’t need to say ‘I’m something of a cuber myself’’ This isn’t to be rude, just a personal annoyance
@@speeedycuber Umm.. You made speechless.. But, I'll write. First of all, there was nothing annoying in my comment (i guess). And I didn't wrote that Comment for you BTW. also - they forgot their history - they talk about cube notation, but never mention it was david singmaster who came up with 'Singmaster Notation'. it uses U and D for up and down - there are also other popular forms of cube notation dialekt, such as 'Nourse Notation' - used in millions of copies of 'The Simple Solution to the Rubik's Cube', which use T and B for top and bottom, P for Posterior, and use explicit + and - for clockwise instead of ' for prime (counter-clockwise) moves.
man when those "internal edge pieces" pop out they are a pain to put back in. And then you lose almost all of the lube that was in there and it gets louder and it just stinks.
The term “hardware”. As a fabricator, hardware is nuts and bolts, so when people said “updated hardware” I would think “updated screws and springs? That doesn’t make sense” It took me too long to realize that “hardware” is just the overall “tech” of a cube. Adj systems, mags, maglev, and so on
7:35 i'm not sure i agree with this definition. in my eyes finger tricks just refer to how you turn a puzzle, regardless of whether it's an efficient or inefficient technique. so stuff like regrips and turning the U layer with your wrist are finger tricks, just bad ones.
Hold on what? You're a good speedsolver and don't know full oll? I just started learning CFOP this year and I'm almost finished with full oll and I know full pll.
Its true, I want to learn full oll soon. For a long time I was mainly focused on making videos and I wasn't practicing speedsolving at all, but I'm starting to practice more frequently and full oll is definitely on the list ;)

A video I didnt think I would need but now Im satisfied 😊
If I somehow forget all of the cubing terms I know, then this video will definitely help me remember them. Keep up the good work Blue!

Cool comments guys

Cubing terms that are on top of my mind:
ZBLL, COLL, CMLL, CLL, ZZ, ZBLS, VHLS, VLS, HLS, 1LLL, OLLCP, EG-1, PR, WR, WB, WCA, TPS, AUF, ABF, enough with abbreviations, Winter Variation, Summer Variation, Half Centers, 3-2-3 Edges, Petrus, Reduction, Yau, Hoya, Ortega, Anti-CLL, Old Pochmann, M2, Orozco, 3-style, R2, okay I'm done
You are like the Odd1sOut/Jaiden Animations(back when she made good stuff….. now it’s all video games)/Domics of cubing.
Your animations just keep getting better!
I like how you design your videos, especially the mini figure moving around. Immediate like!

I have just started cubing and this video was very helpful. Thanks. My PB is 2:42 with the beginners method. Long way to go 😄
Love these animated videos! So glad it came out on a Friday too!
I feel like there are so many more cubing terms so I hope you will make another video about this cus I would love to see it!
I would have said that parity happens (on NxNxN cubes) when you reduce it to other cube's unsolved state, like we do on a 4x4
2:08 I tried that algorithm and I ran into parity
Nice video!
*Just wanted to mention, I saw on your About page that you're getting really close to one billion views. Congrats!
Every time I watch this without fail when you mention pops at 8:46 my cube pops
OMG!
I knew alot of the "Terms" which were listed above. You know, imma something of a cuber myself.😆💟❤💚💛🧡💙

I like how the scramble matches the picture.
The bottom edge on the blue face should be orange though
The notation is called the "S*** Move" since it only requires two sides to solve (R' and U'). Most youtubers use this notation for click bait.
Thank you for explaining, I really need to know this.
Hey he made a video on a topic which i commented on his 3x3 notations video! POG!
Amazing video!!
6:46 thanks for saying that im very epic because im color neutral
FOR THE NEXT VIEDO OF CUBEING TERMS YOU SHULD EXPLAIN THE MEANING OF CORNER CUTTING AND CORNER TWIST....
Blue you are the best RUclipsr you never would stop intertwining me
You are a genius at the age of whatever you are
9:05 i got a pop when i scramble a 3×3 it get 1 by 1 and it all pops but i fixed it 2:13 it is a t perm
Permutation has a difference with scramble permutation is just swaps
what about the term "big cube" witch is a cube larger than a 3x3
Good Animation Blue🙂

you dont know full pll!?
that suprised me so much
thank you so much blue! this helped alot!
7:30 in the video
Nice video. Watched till the end
0:52, "cuber, a person that likes to solve twisty puzzles, or does it often" (me who is solvng on in the moment: wut.
Whenever i do a pll my non cuber friends think that im scrambling it again smh🤦♂️
Fun Fact: This video was uploaded on my birthday!

It took me too long to realize that “hardware” is just the overall “tech” of a cube. Adj systems, mags, maglev, and so on
New cubers need know about unsolvable "corner twist" and how to fix it.
Sick
things i would like you to add to part 2 (please)
imma edit this later
spring setting thingy
flagship meaning
2:07 yeaaaaaaaaaaah....T Perm....why does everybody love T Perm?
Love the animation
7:45 that internal center
3:03 That scramble is not accurate, or I did not scramble correctly.
0:43 i did not now a 1x1 had moving parts
9:01 I love this drawing lol
i dont undertsand the internal edges ,
sub10 / sub20 blah blah ,
ao something
and the one look or two look.
idk
this could be a school subject ngl
Thank you

turning U with your wrist is a wrist trick
7:02 some guy acts like it means 'peanut butter'
Lol not me practicing crop while binge watching ur vids.
I wanna know what is PR, ER etc.
It’s weird and cool at the same time that I know what all these terms mean lolol
Cool!!
The 3x3 is called the Rubik's cube on Wikipedia
u called me epic (i’m color neutral)
You know you are a rubik’s cube lover when you know all of them
since the vid u made about parity algorithm, i still did not learn it for any cube. Not 4x4, not 6x6
In the picture of twisty puzzles I saw a 1x1 which doesn’t turn (term 3)
0:37 do 1x1s have moving parts?
2:10 YAY T PERM

What a legend
New cubera do the same thing where they think a rubies brand is a 3x3
I learned how to solve a cube by your tutorial plus wheres red
Try to convert this phrase to binary:
Take this dude's PB!
I only solved 5 sides
On my pyraminx
they forgot - CUBIST ✨ as in, 'are you a cubist?' - A: yes!
Couldn’t help but notice u forgot all the terms that describe peanut butter

2:09 T perm?
Yay
7:25 since when? I thought you were sub 20
so that's why you made the core in blender...
40 SECONDS?? I JUST OPEN YT?!?!
What about x-cross
I knew all of these except triggers, torpedos and explosions
How do you not know torpedoes??
im colour neutral so that means you called me epic

Yes
ive been cubing for like 5 months and i knew 50/50
what does auf mean
not knowing one look what a mood
watching while i solve my 5x5
thanksssssssssssssss
i didnt know like 5 terms
