11:03 I still recall playing Fallout (1997) and coming across Shady Sands back in 2161 when it was just a little Adobe settlement. By 2241 in Fallout 2 it became a major city and was the capital of the NCR. Sad to see it gone like this by 2296 the events of this show :(
I hate this storyline. It differs and is even more hellish than the original from the games. As a standalone show I liked it. But there are so many inconsistencies I reconciled this as a skin job only. Don't care what Bethesda says. They messed up Interplay's baby just to own what they bought. I found the show very entertaining, But any decent critic could rip this show apart. Watch for fun. You will love it. It's just...not Fallout really
In the Fallout universe there are about 100+ vaults spread out across the US. And I believe this show is the first to introduce 3 vaults that are connected.
In Fallout 1 you start in Vault 13, in Fallout 3 you're a member of Vault 101 and Fallout 4 you come out of Vault 111 and lastly Fallout 76 (the multiplayer one) you come from Vault 76. You don't ALWAYS play as a Vault Dweller but usually you do. The games where you don't are Fallout 2, Fallout: Tactics and Fallout: New Vegas. There are other side games and mobile games but that's the main bulk of it for playing as a Vault Dweller.
All Oversears came from Vault 31.. that's the secret he discovered. Looks like all the vaults were doing their own experiments on the residents. There are a few YT videos that give background info on the vaults system how it all started and why, if you're interested. They don't give much away in spoilers as they keep away from the TV show.
Lots of people have commented on Ella Purnell's eyes but none of them have had eyes as big and beautiful as yours are! So glad I found your channel. You seem like somebody it would be fun to grab a pint with while watching a good show.
YO YOU THOUGHT THE SAME THING I DID. I legit thought we'd come back to this bridge at somepoint and see that she accidentally established a new safe passing tradition on that bridge.
Bout half way through, betty was in the computer terminal already determined to be elected Overseer before the voting was even done, thats what Norm figured out.
Doesnt really matter what order you play the games in, since they are pretty much standalone games set in the same universe. I would recommend either New Vegas or Fallout 4.
Fallout 3 and 4 go together. Storylines, factions, and characters in Fallout 4 are introduced in Fallout 3. Fallout 1,2, and New Vegas go together, though 1 & 2 aren't required to enjoy New Vegas.
If you’re going to play a fallout game, I’d recommend Fallout 4. It’s a good starting point since it looks better and the gunplay is better. Fallout 3 and New Vegas are older and more clunky, but they are much richer story-wise.
Fallout 1 and 2 are isometric and more strategy and turn based than action. Fallout New Vegas is the fan favorite, Fallout 3 and 4 are in the vein of new in that they're heavier on action.
If you decide to play the games, I think that Fallout 3 is the best starting point for newcomer to the franchise. Fans fight about what the best game is, but Fallout 3 was most peoples entry point to the franchise and I think it's a great place to start.
Jumping in to watch with you. I've only played the games. Haven't watched the show. So far they appear to be sticking to the lore of the games and it's making a good show.
The Fallout mashed potatoes is called InstaMash with 3% of real potatoes in it! And tatoes in a vault is a big mistake as they are originated from an radiation induced mutation after the war so no tatoes in a vault, but Bethesda doesn't car much about this kind of details.
The only reviewer so far doing commentary on mash taters. You keep being you. It is great.

Still lives on my desktop though, just said hi to Tandy a few hours ago
I know man, they blew it up off screen.

The girl with the roundest, marbliest eyes is commenting on other peoples' round marbly eyes. I think there's a word for that. :D

122 vaults, give or take.
@@Alex-dn5ns And they can always write in more Vaults as a big secret reveal which I''d be okay with and have actually kind of hoped for.
@@Jessethoth the whole idea of 31-32-33 being connected was already so interesting. I'm sure they still have stuff to pull out of the hat lol
122 across US and Canada, Canada was annexed during the war with China and battle for the Oilfieds of Alaska!

Tatos are hybrids of tomatoes and potatoes
I did NOT know that, that’s pretty cool!
Yes, in fact they are mutated tomatoes that still grow outside dirt like tomatoes but who taste like potatoes... almost, it's an aquired taste i guess
@@katieoshaughnessy8086 potatoes that grow on a vine...
4:50 Well technically.... they are cousins. 👍

I will absolutely watch a Fallout 4 playthrough
I PROMISE you any other game will be a bit of a hassle to get into
Will you livestream the games? 👀
Doesnt really matter what order you play the games in, since they are pretty much standalone games set in the same universe. I would recommend either New Vegas or Fallout 4.
Don't take this the wrong way, but you look like what I would imagine a live version of Tinkerbell would look like. Just without wings.
Lol you got marble eyes too...
I’m new here, can anyone see what her chest piece says? she has some very cool designs that are awesome
Thank you ! (And it says ‘The Road So Far’. It’s a Supernatural reference!)

She's definitely got "bedroom eyes".
Most vaults in Fallout lore had an experiment of sorts going on. They really wasnt for saving the human race. It was more about testing.
thanks for the spoilers.
@@randallwilliamson3838 Wasnt a spoiler since the show doesnt really go into that. You would have to play the game to know that much.
I think there's around 122 vaults around the U.S
He's not Knight Maximus or Titus. He's in a stolen suit. Maximus is the villain of the story.
There were 122 vaults built.
All their overseers came from Vault 31.

So many forshadowing in this Show like don't Lose your head. I love it
I cant wait for the reactions to the next few episodes
"drinkee-fish", LoL🤪
There are 122 vaults.
:grins: Loved the moment at about the ten and a half minute mark where the Irish lady unloads wrathful judgement on terrible mash!
I love this show
Me too!!
lol at the Irish chick hating on our instant mashed potatoes. Most instant food is not great but those potatoes are good.
I'd recommend starting with Fallout 4, it has the closest vibe to the show.
Def recommend new Vegas if you decide to play a fallout game !

You have incredible eyes, Katie!
And you are so funny 🙂
Definitely go back and play the games
Especially 4.
7:44 He found out all Overseers of 31 became 33 Overseers. It will lead to information about Vault 31 and why they are connected.
If you miss Walking Dead, you may like "Z Nation." A great, fun, weird and sometimes gut-wrenching show. Thanks!
Lol.... Little rabbit you're doing well advertising this series...
Hey if you play the games i would watch. Fallout and the walking dead go hand in hand😂
Jumping in to watch with you. I've only played the games. Haven't watched the show. So far they appear to be sticking to the lore of the games and it's making a good show.
Most gorgeous Irish girl I've found lately
next is favorite!
I can't read the second word in your chest tattoo.
Sweet
On playing the game, be prepared to save scum. Lots of easy ways to die.
The order you play the games truly doesn’t matter. The only advice I would give is not starting with Fallout 76.
Fallout New Vegas is the best one. Play that first.
@ 8:41 Well you have absolutely beautiful eyes darlin
Katie my love your becoming the sunshine in my dark tunnel😱❤️👍🔥🥰🥰🥰
❤️
Play New Vegas. It’s the most relevant

Your name gave me a chuckle a bit because it reminds me of that Key and Peele sub teacher skit 😁😁😁
in terms of the games, Fallout 4 might be the easiest for someone who is completely new to the franchise
curse of bad adaptation of videogames made to tv show is over
I dig your new[er] hair
With all the potato talk…there are no cows in any of these vaults…what are they using for butter…🫠 Probably not a question one wants to kno☠️
There are 122 vaults.
