Hello Again! 🐞 a casual ramble about where i've been

Hello everyone! And welcome back to Farawa!
It's been a little while so in this video I will update you guys on what I've been doing! It's a very casual format and a bit slow but feel free to do a craft or grab a cup of tea or even put it on 2x speed!
Long story short - I have been at college and trying to find a balance between school work, friends, hobbies, and trying to not get so consumed by social media.
I never meant to let it get this long without posting - I love posting videos! But unfortunately, this semester was very busy so I put videos and hobbies on the back burner. But! I want to get back into it! So I hope to see you guys soon! Thank you to all who have commented and waited or are joining just now!

The first year is hard! But it won't be the same for everyone! I hope my telling of it doesn't discourage you 😅I know you did not ask for advice but my best piece of advice I wish I tell my younger self is communication! And reach out to faculty and friends for help and relationships earlier on.

I'm so glad to see you and know that things are getting better for you at college! I would love to see a video on your sustainable sculpture class. I'm an artist and I use upcycled and reclaimed materials, so it is a subject that I am intrigued about. Please don't stress about perfectionism. Life is much more interesting when things are not perfect.

never apologize for “being boring”! the right people are watching for you. i am happy you found your group. I find it hard to balance classes and hobbies as well: I am trying to think about it as seasons of life, right now I have the chance to take classes, so it is okay that I can spend less time on my hobbies than I will over other parts of my life.

thank you! i have been trying to think that way - with that I will do school work now and my hobbies later, the only problem for me I have found is that I told myself that junior and senior year of high school - that I will cut down on my hobbies in order to just get through the year, and in college I will have time for hobbies. Even though I am busy now I feel that even if I were freer from school work in the future I might still have poor time management so I hope to build it now - plus building my hobbies for future careers. And without them I feel very unlike myself and lost. But yes, I totally understand! And that is good advice! Thank you! 😊
