The 2010-2013 wagons were best, the beautiful grill and the Ponton inspired flairs in the rear fenders. The new ones lost the flairs and the beautiful grill is optional. Now they are only making an all terrain wagon. Note to MBUSA save the all terrain for your SUVs and bring back the luxury version ..
@TheLightingII I highly concur with your notion. The car is pretty darn expensive. It being targeted towards millennials is a wrong way to go. The CLA or the C300 would have been a better choice. But notice who's the commercial is being targeted towards, yep surfers. The Wagon is the perfect car for them.
This seems targeted at the wrong group. I am young and do like Mercedes and wagons alike, but I am definitely a minority in that regard. This car should be targeted at people in their late 30-50s who have families. Young people don't care about cars like this nor do most have the money to buy one. Also show more of the car and less pointless crap.
Mercedes, if you're reading this, the commenters raise the right points: we love wagons, but this one just simply isn't in the price bracket of the demographic you're portraying in the video. Now, replace the E-Class Wagon with a C-Class wagon, or even the CLA Shooting Brake, and you now have a market that is BEGGING to be filled. Audi does not offer any more wagons other than the raise-suspension Allroad, and BMW's offering lack both options and power. Bring the C300, C450, and the C63(S) to the United States. We will buy them, in one form or another.
Is this about surfing or is it about the Merc? By the way, I'm pretty sure surfers or trendy people would not buy an E-Class estate, or any other Mercedes. The advert looks good but gives a very confused message. People who buy Mercs are those who wear white long sleeve shirts and hate their marriages.
I'm 18 and I love it. I would buy it.
merc the BEST !

I agree but in America most families who drive Mercedes have ML's or GL's I hardly ever see E class wagons
sad but true..

Too bad.. Im looking for the wagon for my trendy ride. Slap some nice rims and I've got an anti-SUV that will drive fast and drive comfortably.
If only they offered the diesel motor on the wagon... :-/
