    7 minutes in of rambling is going to lose so many people already. I am closing out without even getting to your in the bag. What Anthony does so well is gets to the points, keeps it short and sweet. If it is a longer speech breaking it up with play or something else to distract from the long statement. Have bullet points and a strategy before making an uncut video.

      Yeah sorry man, you caught the wrong video. Some videos I make for me, and I really wanted to address my loyal viewers without distraction, as what I was talking about was something important to me. Sorry you left before the in the bag, was pretty proud of that part. However, my video I recently posted is a lot quicker with almost no filler like this one and just disc golf. Guess my channel found you for the wrong video sadly.

      I shot the best tournament round I have so far. Shot 100 over my rating! Very happy with how my season has started so far. But definitely a crazy amount of stuff I need to improve. I’m happy with where my baseline was!

    Hey good luck man hope to catch you at some big tourneys this year !! You let me down though not having at least an M4 or D2 in there 😢

      Haha bag is ever evolving. Played the tourney already that I was talking about. Not gunna lie, there was a few times I was missing my M4. Bag is ever evolving haha. Also got plans for a prodigy only round video trying to shoot 1000 rated at a local course. 👀

      @@Sanfordtime yeah man. My MD1 was just a little too flippy for the flight I was wanting in certain holes. That M4 is dead straight and true 100% of the time. Definitely an overthought. That color glow MD3 needs too much power to fly as straight as the M4, and I was playing by a lot of finesse woods golf this weekend. 🤦🏻‍♂️

      @@OwenPautlitz I have fully gone to a prodigy bag limiting choices has made me really trust my discs a lot more. Also it’s made me focus a lot more on shot shaping. Trust me man give that D2 a shot.

    For what it's worth, I see at least 2-4 crucial slots missing in this bag. Well maybe 1, if the Justice can cover the other one. But it's the INSANELY OS and the RIDICULOUSLY US molds for extremely tricky situations. My personal ones are a beat up dx Sidewinder and a Premium Troija (and a Premium Razeri for a faster one) and they have saved me more strokes than I'd care to admit. These are discs that you don't want to throw during tournament rounds, but I've seen so many people get absolutely stuck in the rough without something like this and regretting not carrying an extra 1-2 discs for those really rare situations. Seriously, I think everyone should have at least 1 stupid OS and 1 dumb US disc in their bags.

      The "trick shot" slots

    • @OwenPautlitz
      @OwenPautlitz  10 месяцев назад

      I know this is probably dumb, but I hope in the long run it works out: My thinking is that if I don't have a crazy get out of jail disc (used to bag a tilt) then I can't even give myself the option to scramble from those positions. I'm hoping in the long run it will help me hyper focus on hitting fairways and playing smarter golf. I definitely know what you mean, I shank shots like the best of em' and this last tournament I probably could've used one of those discs at times but opted to just pitch in the fairway. Then the next round I would disc down to a mid off the tee to make certain I was hitting the fairway and not gaining strokes.

      @@OwenPautlitz I have seen that mentality fail over and over again. But usually it's by guys who have this (in my opinion) over analytical and hyper technique focused approach to the sport. They practice their putting, upshots and drives A LOT and fixate on technique more than anything. The weirdest thing about those guys is usually consistancy. They'll have great rounds followed by god awful rounds as they have not practiced shots from the rough, only multiple drives and then approaches from the sweet spot. Also, they usually don't have these discs so they have to "force" shots out of the rough, leading to NOT GETTING OUT OF THE ROUGH. The meltdowns are huge. But you don't seem like that type of a person, at least not on video. Hopefully this works out, I'm not a fan of the Tilt (and honestly I've seen way more failed shots with it than successful ones) but if it works for you, I'd keep it in the bag at least for tournaments, just in case.
      My personal best/worst has been a weekly tournament where I shot around 5 shots with my Troija (all insane forehand anhyzers) and 3 shots with my Sidewinder (2 rollers, 1 forehand roller), saving at least those 8 strokes. Says way too much about my drives on that day tho, just couldn't hit the damn fairway 🤣💩

      @@1andonlyMiro Not gunna lie I definitely was they exact guy that you were describing. It was only until I took the analytical approach away that I started seeing more consistency. I think it was good for a bit while I was developing my form, but you’re right I think you gotta kick that approach to the game if you want to do better. Mostly because the game is so mental, and I would definitely get in my head “why did I shank the shot, how do I fix it next time?” Then in tournament rounds I found myself correcting my form, and that was never good. For me, the biggest change in my game was my mental approach. This last tournament I could bogey a hole, shake it off then birdie the next. Was a big step for me in my game.
