When people judge a cover, they only critique the vocals. Granted he might not be the best singer, you have to admit the music itself was a great rendition of the song.

You all who talk rude about his vocals grow up, a lot of people enjoy his voice, i think it's really brilliant, learn manners don't say hateful things why waste your words on something you hate move the fuck on and listen to something you like. if you have nothing nice about them then don't say nothing at all.

I saw them last year at Fat as Butter and they're amazing - Even though they wouldn't play 'Best of Friends'.. They've got such a great live atmosphere, I don't think you can really see it here.. but yeah.

they attempted a del rey song, it was never going to be as good as her version. go check out some of their originals, you'll be surprised.
I see people saying about the vocalist - will say this. I didn't mind the individual parts, just the group singing at the end that didn't work so well for me but the instrumental behind makes up for that.

I am strangely fascinated by Ben's face in this clip.
I like what they did with the song, reminded me of Modest Mouse's stuff. But the singing just wasn't up to par. VERY pitchy through the entire song. But I give them an A for effort!

You're right, but I think there are two aberrations for that rule, those being Johnny Cash's cover of 'Hurt' and Jeff Buckley's cover of 'Hallelujah,' both of which I consider to be better versions than their original counterparts
I don't think the vocals are weak at all. This is their cover of the song, so obviously the vocals will suit their sound and style. I love this cover.

Do people not understand that when a band does a 'Like a Version' on Triple J, the band covering the song is MEANT to change the song around to suit their music style, hence the word 'Version'. Look at Bluejuice's Like a Version of Lana Del Rey's Video Games...It's awesome yet different from the original. Why do sense a few blow-ins who have never heard a Like a Version and judge the concept right off the bat without knowing what it's all about?
