Buses in Perth city during peak hour - Transperth

- In this video we see some buses in Perth's CBD during the afternoon peak. We start at the intersection of Williams Street & The Esplanade which is just outside Elizabeth Quay train station and busport. We then head to the intersection of Williams Street & St Georges Terrace where we spend most of the video. Just to make things more interesting a storm started brewing which brought some rain towards the end of the video.
We see a variety of different buses including Mercedes Benz O405NH's, OC500LE CNG's & Volvo B7RLE's with Volgren bodywork. These are all typical buses in Perth but we also see a couple of more interesting buses including an old Mercedes Benz O405, a Renault PR100.2 & PR180.2 and an Iveco Citelis 18 GNG; the only one in the Transperth bus fleet.

Watching this makes me tear up a little, as I used to go through the CBD every day in 2016 when I travelled from Rockingham to Joondalup to go to TAFE. I certainly miss those days so much, and watching this just takes me right back to those times.

Definitely brings back the days. But times have changed and nearly all of this, the Transperth fleet has changed and been flushed out by volvos.
Congratulations for actually managing to capture 3002 IN SERVICE! 3002 is, while only 9 years old, now the most unreliable bus in the Transperth fleet. It spends most of its time sitting somewhere in Malaga Depot, refusing to start up.
Noting that 3002 is the most unreliable bus, the 2nd most unreliable bus is 3000, the Scania L94UA CNG demonstrator, and the only CNG-Powered L94UA in the world.
I frequented the 406 a while ago, and they occasionally ran the 3001 and 3002 on that route during the school rush hours. The thing I remember about them was how dark and weird-smelling they were on the inside.

It’s cool cuz in each bus are people that chose not to be driven around and are therefore saving the environment.

Is that odd looking bendy bus at the end new or old?
#3002 was built in 2009. It's an Iveco Citelis 18 CNG and it's the only one in the Transperth bus fleet.

No, I assume it was just a one off, probably a demonstration unit. Transperth have been buying Volvo B7RLE's for the last couple of years and more recently, the B8RLE.
