Thank you so much for watching!
so so cool, looks BEAUTIFUL and serene
I love moss
@@michaelwheeler2825 We are huge fans of moss as well lol
I like this video! It's calming to watch this video while doing other work.
Thank you so much!
Great video! Do you think it's worth going on both the Yakusugi Land and Shiratani Unsuikyo hikes? Or are they both quite similar in terms of scenery/vibes? And if you could only choose one hike, which would you pick? Thanks!
If you have the time absolutely! They are very similar though in terms of scenery so if I had to do one it would be Shiratani Unsuikyo.
That was a fantastic forest on day 1. It's amazing that you had it all to yourselves.
It was absolutely gorgeous
This place looks amazing, how do you navigate around the forest to make sure you don't get lost in the middle of the woods?
It was insane! They have some trail maps at the start and I always take a photo before we walk on any trail. There also aren't many places to split off and they do have markers along the way. Absolutely one of our favorite hiking places!
How much did the car thingy cost? And did you need some special licence or did they just let you drive it?
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you! We had our international drivers permit from AAA which was sufficient to rent the car. The car cost 12,500 yen which includes insurance and taxes.
We're off to Yakushima in March next year. What was the name of the hotel you stayed at?
Hey there, it's called the Green Hotel and it was phenomenal!
What time of year was this? We are thinking of going mid November and I’m wondering if that’s considered off season?
Thanks so much for watching! We went mid March. If you need any information I highly recommend reaching out to YES. They were such an amazing resource and it's completely free.
