Onboard one of SAS's A320 NEO's for a morning hop from Scandinavia down to the UK. Filmed from the Business cabin. Departing Copenhagen at just after sunrise on a very sunny, cloudy morning. A very powerful NEO take off & quick climb up through the grey skies before finally breaking out the top into the sunrise.
On SAS's single aisle airbus fleet, there is a moveable cabin divider & curtain which is positioned based on the passenger loads, which divides the Business & Economy cabins. In Business Class they also block off the middle seats, so the "B" & "E" seats are not available, which offers customers more space. Once in the cruise, I was offered my choice of drinks (including alcoholic beverages) and a choice of 2 Breakfast meals which were; Breakfast Box which was Cheese & cold cuts with Bread & or a vegetarian option which was a Fruit Salad with Bread & Fresh Fruit . SAS's also offers WiFi packages to choose from as well as seat power points which includes a standard British plug & 2x USB ports. I took the time to show on camera the options for the WiFi and the new at seat food & drinking ordering & purchasing which is offered in the SAS Traveller cabin. You can now join the WiFi and on the home page (www.sas.se/onb...) & order food & drinks which are delivered to your seat by the crew. Of course in Business Class the food & drink service is complimentary, but in Economy it seems a great new feature. I managed to move across the aisle in flight to get some views out of the right hand side as well before starting our descent into sunny London. A much brighter, sunnier day in London than it was leaving Copenhagen.
