Most of us knew when the trade happened it wasn’t going to work. But 15 games into the season it was confirmed. The very reason you got RW happened and couldn’t be 500 now it’s happening without AD. Not all on RW but he doesn’t help in the way they need.
I'm a Knicks fan. Still, the RW trade boggled my mind. There were so many other options that were available: Kyle Lowery, Demar Derozan, Buddy Hield, Patty Mills. Plus, it wasn't like the Lakers were that far off last year. They just couldn't stay healthy. I expected the Lakers to tweak the roster not to totally over-haul it. Then they get the worst fit imaginable at point guard which sucks up all the cap space and to make matters worse they fill up much of the remainder of the roster with over-the-hill veterans (which makes them atrocious defensively). If I didn't know better, I'd think James Dolan was now running the Lakers. Go Knicks!

Most of us knew when the trade happened it wasn’t going to work. But 15 games into the season it was confirmed. The very reason you got RW happened and couldn’t be 500 now it’s happening without AD. Not all on RW but he doesn’t help in the way they need.
I'm a Knicks fan. Still, the RW trade boggled my mind. There were so many other options that were available: Kyle Lowery, Demar Derozan, Buddy Hield, Patty Mills. Plus, it wasn't like the Lakers were that far off last year. They just couldn't stay healthy. I expected the Lakers to tweak the roster not to totally over-haul it. Then they get the worst fit imaginable at point guard which sucks up all the cap space and to make matters worse they fill up much of the remainder of the roster with over-the-hill veterans (which makes them atrocious defensively). If I didn't know better, I'd think James Dolan was now running the Lakers. Go Knicks!

Spurs always move the ball. They may not win but they always play solid. We can learn from them. I’m so tired of seeing 75-80% of our offense being ISO and maybe a cut here or there
If spurs can get hot, they can actually take a stab at the playoffs. They've had some pretty bad loses, but some of them they were right in the mix, and just couldn't finish.
Spurs have been a different team the last 8 or so games… they’re only gonna get better as the season goes on with their young legs as these old team start falling apart

In 2018, the Cavs made the finals because the East was the weakest I've seen in my 40+ years as a die hard NBA fan! The only team who had a prayer against Cavs was Raptors (the rest of East was not good) but Lebron had Derozen afraid.
Lebron was at his best in 2009 and again in 2013 and finally in 2016. Since the 2016 title, he has rested on defense and stat padded, even in the playoffs.
Out of 300 players he finished 14th in defense last season. But I’m sure if lebron would’ve retired a few times his defense wouldn’t be as bad as it is at this current moment.

Lebron is a one way stat padder at this point in his career and he is totally fine with that. He will periodically block a shot so that it can go on Sportscenter and people can still think he plays defense. This is an obvious first round exit or a loss in the play in game.
