Summer in the Parks and the Showmobile..Yes...Dawn of GOGO..NO..Those bands from 69' to 79' were not GOGO Bands.. They were Funk R&B bands that loved that DC groove and took pride in their unique skills as musicians and singers. However they did lay the foundation for GOGO.
