Sorry to hear that you have 2019. Those perpetual editions of Office are designed for people who don't have access to the Internet. They are overpriced and obsolete the day they ship. Never buy a perpetual edition of Office. You will be missing out on many features.
Hi Bill, thanks. This is not such a revolutionary thing, but I see a small use of it: you can protect formula's on a very low level. People who know to use F5, also know to leave the formula's as it is. So I see this as a low level protection method....
That is a good question. The process of converting the book to Kindle costs some money and creates a fork of the file. I want to do that once the book becomes "stable" and there aren't any more changes. So, for right now, it will be PDF only until we get closer to general availability.

I rather use picture as a background and don't have problems with selection

I have always done this by applying a picture to a shape and apply transparency that way.
