Master Oogway was an elderly tortoise and the previous senior master of the Jade Palace. He is credited as the founder of the Valley of Peace, the creator of kung fu, and the developer of the Dragon Warrior legend.
Highly venerated for his wisdom, knowledge, and experience, Oogway was considered by many to be a sage. He was greatly respected by Shifu, the Furious Five, Po, the entire Valley of Peace, and all of China. He was known as the greatest kung fu master in history, having no other reputation surpass his. He spent his life dedicated to preserving the art of kung fu as a force for good, and passed on this and many of his other teachings to his students. In the small remainder of his life, he had the chance to finally locate the Dragon Warrior before he ascended into the Spirit Realm.

I love to use this music for meditation. It’s so calming and Oogway is one of my favorite characters from Kung Fu Panda. I hope that if I am to keep medicating, I will become a better person than I am now

I lost my sister in a car crash right next to my house. Just putting it in there to tell you guys i feel you. I understand you. Ive had one tragedy happen to me before but the one with my sister is the worse one. But hey life happens, i hope if you read this that im here to say i feel you and understand. Im sorry that everyone goes through with death. No one truely know until it happens to them. Sadly i am those people that loss a family member when i thought they would come back safe. But like life just keep moving, it is bound to happen at some point. I give condolences to the people who lose their families and friends. And I’m here to say i understand.

There is a book written by a Chinese man, living in the 4th or 6th century, his name is Lao Tzu and he wrote the Tao Te Ching (pronounced 'Dow De Ching' in English). You might find it quite interesting.

Dreamworks peaked with master oogway. Most of his sayings are from real eastern philosophy. Turned me on to Lao tsu, the hagakure, the book of 5 rings, and what it means to “take the sword”. I am on a journey without goal, and I wish for nothing. I am satisfied with my life.
